the game:
the_seven. It's set in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe, a couple centuries after the books end. Knowing the 'verse is helpful, but you don't necessarily need to know the books that well. my pup is Kaelyn Stark (
wolf_queen) and she would really love to have her lord husband, William Stark* (first name is negotiable). There's some major backstory with William: He was named regent after the king was assassinated and the crown prince was presumed dead. The Starks were dragged down from the North and installed to reign the Seven Kingdoms. The regency... did not go stupendously. But it might have managed, only the crown prince showed up and asked for his throne back. The Starks packed up to get the hell home, having to leave William's sister and oldest daughter behind as a sort of... guarantee. Hostage is a nasty word.
They were only a few days into the journey home when a raven came with news: William was 'offered' the position of Hand of the King. So now they're heading back to the capital.
