She'd picked up a bottle of mead from Vivi's store earlier in the day, after her agreement to trade the contents of the bottle to Ari for the appropriate signature seemed... The smallest blow her ego could take at the time. Admittedly, Aspel didn't take her ego into consideration often but when it came to Ari's games, it always left the smith with an odd sense of dread in her gut. Not that she felt the other woman particularly vicious or intentionally harmful but... Whatever she might consider appropriate payment otherwise, Aspel wasn't so sure she'd be ready, or able, to pay. A low sigh slipped out and her shoulder was slowly rolled as it still ached from earlier in the day from a rather hard blow on the berserkers had smashed into that arm. Even with the armor, the sheer force of the blow had taken her whole body of kilter for a moment before she had been able to retaliate. Thankfully, between her role as a sentinel and the weight of her armor, it was hard to take Aspel completely off her feet regardless of how hard others may try at most times. The healers had done their best but even with that the shoulder had remained sore, but at least she knew for a fact that no permanent damage would come from it. Well, perhaps if she was lucky, the smith would be able to talk Ari into a shoulder rub, after all, Ari must have seen the match as she claimed to be such a fan of the exhibitions. Flexing her arms and attempting to loosen her legs, Aspel must have looked to be doing the strangest gig in creation for the moment but she was still in her small apartment, so unless a peeping tom was scouring second story windows, she felt rather safe in such an odd display. However, when done, a light jacket would be pulled over a comfortable set of clothing and out the smith would go. Ari had said that Aspel would need to find her if the smith still desired the signature and Aspel had just the idea of where the bard might be after a performance night like this. |
