"Oh, the caterwauling I've heard over the last few days... you would scarce believe it if I told you," Ari said with a wicked little smile. "It has been a thoroughly satisfying experience all in all, I must say. Still..." she took another sip of the mead and nearly smacked her lips, it was so good. "I admit, this has its merits."
She looked Aspel over more carefully, noting that she sat somewhat stiffly. "Still sore?" she asked, a note of concern in her voice. "I can try my hand at it - if you like." She had jokingly promised a song at one point, and it was unlikely that she could succeed where the white mages had failed, but possibly she could at least relieve the soreness for a brief while. "Or else I suppose you can allow this really superior mead to do the work for you; I'm certain you'll be relaxing in no time."
