"Oh yes, there are hours to go until dawn, at least." And this time, she was pacing herself so she did not end up embarrassingly drunk and needing to be carried home. She did have plans, of a sort. If promises were kept, they would involve chocolate. She intended to be at least conscious so that she could enjoy them.
"You can have more than one, you know," Ari told her. "My songs aren't prized family heirlooms to lock away for a rainy day." She tilted her head and examined Aspel's face for a long moment. "Am I right to assume this is something you do often?" she asked at length. "Save things for a rainy day, or a special occasion, I mean." It was... the complete opposite of her philosophy, really.
"I intend to celebrate," she answered the last question. Dancing, mead, good company... and possibly that chocolate, if Drake was a s good as his word. "It has been some time since I had the opportunity to do so, and today has been very nearly a perfect day in all respects."
