Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
"Mm." Was all Aspel would respond with. The idea of children was something she'd considered several times over. Certainly, settling down and marry a nice man then providing children would be appreciated by her parents. Surely, they'd carry on about how she had, had to go and get the young and stupid out of her system before seeing that their way was right and they were so glad that she had finally come around to their pattern of thought but... Something in it didn't feel quite right to her in the end if she were to be honest with herself.
"Perhaps you will need to come keep me company at the forge someday. I would not mind some form of entertainment while I handle orders." It was half joke and half seriousness. Aspel didn't mind company when she worked sometimes and considering the few number of adults that actually hung about the shop, it couldn't hurt to have one or two linger from time to time.
The signing and then kissing earned a quirked eyebrow for a moment until Ari explained and Aspel couldn't help but give a brief laugh. "I see. I suspect it to be as good an identifier as any." The napkin was reached for, and if the other woman allowed her to retrieve it with such ease would be carefully folded and tucked away for the moment.
Amusement colored her features as Ari took the drink and then handed it back, a large gulp of mead would be knocked back easily, a bit left in the bottom of the glass and consideration was given. "Well, as long as you have been appeased." A wicked smirk crossed her features for a brief moment.
"I do believe I should be taking my leave for the evening however." With those words, Aspel stood, stepping up close behind Ari and wrapping the hand which still held the glass around the other woman's body, putting them in close range of one another. The glass was held up close to Ari's lips, offering up the last bit of mead for the bard to drink from the glass which Aspel held. Waiting for Ari to drink the last bit, Aspel leaned forward placing a soft kiss against the back of the other woman's head.
"I suspect I will be calling upon those songs soon enough." Her voice was low, a whisper in Ari's ear as she leaned forward slightly, rubbing up against the the bard's back as she placed the glass on the counter so that the bartender could take care of it when they came by once again. Leaning back, a smile and a wave was given to the other as Aspel turned on her heels and began to head back out into the cool night.
