True to form, Ari was enjoying her newfound freedom. Her night had started uncommonly well, with conversation and dancing with the guildmaster himself, and since that time there had been a great deal of wine, dancing, and laughter. There was nothing like a closing night.
She was taking her ease for a tune or two, snacking on one of the hors d'oeuvres some enterprising soul had thought to order, when she noticed a familiar figure in the doorway. In truth, she was surprised to see Aspel; she had thought she would be at home nursing her bruises after this afternoon's melee, but either she took the scavenger hunt particularly seriously, or she bounced back from injuries particularly quickly. Ari supposed either could be the case. She resisted the urge to jump out of her seat and run over - the game was to find her, after all, and she wasn't going to make any further concessions - but she did raise her hand and wave from across the room.
