This place is awfully dull sometimes. Is it really all just ale and feeling sorry for yourselves? Where's the battle, where's the fight against the great evil.

The closest I've seen was the dear begger queen conversing with him about the wonder and mystery of dragons and things she could perhaps set on fire. Always fun to watch Targaryans prove my points for me.

I do yes, and I am trying to ensure you don't let your madness infect this world as your father did our own.

For me to be a Queenslayer, you'd have to be a Queen. And that title belongs to my sister

My madness? I am so sorry to disappoint, but I am not the one with madness. My father and my brother possessed it, but me? My mind is clear.

Your sister may be Queen, but she is not the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. It is only an empty title for her.

Of course it is. I knew one, just one Targaryen that might have made a good king but maybe it was in his heart too, maybe it infects all of you. Never did get the chance to find out with your brother.

Oh she is Queen, more Queen than you ever can be. It is her son after all that sits the Iron Throne and his father before that.

No one did. I did not even have the chance to know Rhaegar. The only member of my family I ever knew was my brother Viserys.

That remains to be seen. She does not hold the power, she does not make the decisions. When I reclaim the Iron Throne, I will be the Queen and rule the Seven Kingdoms. How much longer do you think your nephew will sit upon the Throne? From what I have heard, the armies of the Boy King are spread thinly with the various fronts he must fight on.

Pity. He might have made a good king if he'd not lost to Robert on the Trident. He'd have had to execute me obviously so in most regards I'm glad he didn't. No offense. Its the same with you. Much as I did the Kingdoms a service in my actions, people never look past the blasted 'oaths'

Oh how little you know of my sister. Or her boy. Remember your history girl, what tends to happen when one crosses the Lannisters.

How does the song go? The one about the rain...

One's word is their bond, and you broke your word, your oath. So how do you expect people to think you are an upright man when you have proven your word cannot be trusted?

I know my facts and your family is fighting a war on two fronts. The Boy King is yet young. What do you think would happen when yet another army comes? Or what if more of the kingdoms rebel? What weight would your precious Lannister name carry then?

Which oath did I break? Because I swore more than one. Protect the King, defend him, fine I broke that. But what about the one that says to defend the people, the innocent. The ones your dear father was burning alive, those he'd have killed if his wildfire had been allowed to spread. Or the oaths one is held to by virtue of family. Tell me begger Queen, which oath precicely ought I to have kept, either way I was doomed to break one?

Don't count us out just yet, people have tried before and suffered for it, there is a reason after all that Balon Greyjoy can no longer call himself King of his wasted barren Iron Isles

So your reasoning is that regardless of the events, an oath would have been broken so you decided to make the choice yourself of which one you broke. By taking the King's life.

It is a war that seems to keep people turning against one another. A Baratheon sits upon the throne and yet the Baratheons fight each other while also fighting the Lannisters. The Starks come from the north also fighting Lannisters. When my army crosses the Narrow Sea that adds another side into the war. Forces will be spread thinly, will they not?

The choice was made for me. Your father was a madman threatening to burn the world around him. I would do the same again.

You have heard of my father haven't you? Tywin Lannister? We've fought bigger odds before now and won.

Of course you would.

If you've all faced larger odds before, why isn't your father the one sitting on the throne?

Honest answer.

He didn't want the throne. Nor did I. If we did, we'd sit on the dammed thing by now. As it happens I have, not much to it, you wouldn't like it anyway Khalissi, stick to your horses

How quaint of you to tell me what I would or would not like. The throne will be mine, Kingslayer. The Last Dragon will return to Westeros.

And until she does, it seems we're stuck in the same world. I do hope nothing untoward should befall you little dragon

You know I'll kill you if you become a threat. It shouldn't come as any kind of surprise to you

It is not a surprise, but I bear to ill will towards this world. I will only strike if it strikes at me first.

Well maybe you are more like Rhaegar than I thought.

That said, I will be watching you very closely. And if you slip, just once. I will save this land from you and your fire and blood
