I don't need saving Clark. My way, Jason's way, it works. No more revolving doors or escapes like in Gotham with Arkham. Lawrence in my time is crime free.

You're killing people, Bruce. Lawrence will never be crime free.

Only the guilty ones. And it is Clark. I already made it so in my time there can't be a damn nuclear war and kill everyone.

That makes you just as guilty. Are you excused from the same crimes that you condemn others for, Bruce? How do you justify that?

Being a vigilante's illegal too Clark. But we still do it. But this way, they don't come back.

We don't kill. There's a line.

It's not our responsibility to decide who gets to live and who gets to die. We protect people. That's it.

So we let the criminals have the chance to buy off judges, juries and/or attorneys so they can walk away and commit more crimes?? So they can ruin more families?

Sometimes lines need to be crossed for the greater good.

We can only hope that those judges and attorneys have enough sense to withdrawn from any offers that criminals make. And here in this world, not every member of the law enforcing community is as susceptible to bribery as they were back in Gotham or Metropolis.

No, they don't. You've lost your way, Bruce. This isn't right and you know it.

Perhaps you're right. We'll see.

Last night was the first time in four years that I fought crime without deadly force.

How did that feel?

I'm not going to tell you how right it felt Clark

...different.

Does it matter?

That wouldn't be the first time you've told me I was.

You didn't answer my question.

Probably not the last either.

You're probably not the only one who wants to know. So I made a post to you and a few others about it.

In answer to your question though if you're currently saving a kitten or whatever you do here, yes. It felt right.

And you leave those kittens alone, Wayne.

I'll try putting tiger and lion kittens up in the tree for you so it's more of a challenge.
