War Is Coming Communications.

Well, crap. I can use other words but it wouldn't be nice or Happened again. Second time in this place, bloody hell Forgot my own birthday. It was on the 14th. Though to be fair? There was a huge crisis going on at the time, people getting hurt and worse, trying to stop it, and the patrol stuff, and all that.

So. I'm thinking, I'd like to have a belated birthday party in my house this weekend. Anyone would be welcome to attend. I'll have lots of snacks and refreshments and music, and might even pop an action movie into the DVD. Probably.. Norris, Seagal, or maybe Arnold or something. I'll need a cake. Kind I really love is vanilla, frosting, and, well, pretty much designed as a Slytherin cake. So yeah, late b-day party on Saturday night, bring a friend, have a blast, etc. Ohh.. and there will be magic too if anyone might like to see me demonstrate some of it. Especially fireworks.

So, Alicia had mentioned a very interesting and fun looking sport recently. Or fun looking to me at least. Zorbing. It is basically like this. Anyone I know that would be interested in that? She's setting up a date, time and place, so anyone who'd want me to drive them there. Let me know and I'll pass it on.

Kirk, did you want to go too? Or possibly anyone else in the apartments who'd like to tag along, I don't mind doing a carpool thing with multiple trips. Oh.. and I think a dinner was discussed concerning use of the Trek food replicator. Sounds quite intriguing and can hardly wait to see how awesome that thing works.

There didn't seem a good time to mention it before and, well, I've only just finished exploring it myself - Hogwarts Library is here in Lawrence. I wished for it at Christmas but I've been building in a few safeguards, to stop it from falling into the wrong hands, and, well, what with everything, it took me longer than expected.

I've cast a fidelius charm on it: for those of you who don't know what that is, it means no one will be able to plot or stumble across it unless they have been told where it is by the secret keeper, which is me.

If I die get sent home, everyone that I have told, in turn, becomes a secret keeper. That way, I hope it will continue to be useful, even if I am not here to oversee its use.

Before I tell anyone where it is, however, I'd like to give a warning: while many of the books it holds are standard books of spells, magical histories and directories, that doesn't mean the knowledge they hold can't be dangerous. And there are plenty of books which aren't standard at all and are just down right dark. I hope anyone I trust with the secret of its location will honour that trust and keep any information they gain there safe and confidential. Knowledge is power and I won't stand by and let the library be abused, if I can help it.

That being said, if you would like access, please feel free to contact me. The spell books may not be relevant to many of you here, but there are plenty of books which will be. I just hope it can make some kind of positive difference.

There are a lot of people here who know me, or know of me, and I think I owe a great many of them an apology.

Right before I showed up here -- well. I defeated Voldemort. I mean, like, immediately before. I still have the El and I've sort of been just reeling from that and not -- not sure what to say to anyone. I've read the books now, my books -- seen the films I don't and I just got myself trapped in this strange cycle of self-examination, I suppose. Looking at what I've done; realising how easy it might have been to do things better or differently. It's a struggle, it's strange, when it's all laid out in front of me in chapter and verse. I couldn't really -- I couldn't square it away easily.

But, Hermione sort of dragged me to my senses, so I'm here now. I'm present. And I'm sorry.

Okay so who was the genius who decided to put Law & Order: SVU on Netflix? Because I have literally done nothing but watch it constantly for the last week. I need more. I am an addict. I also think I have a crush on the entire SVU Unit. All of them. I want to hang out in a NYC apartment with them, like the cast of Friends. Which I have also been constantly watching.

Oh God.

When Nietzsche was talking about 'the abyss' I'm pretty sure he just meant Netflix. It's all starting to come together.
