Ten years ago a university that specialized in mutant education along with the standard courses of studies was built. It was the first of its kind, implemented just after the mutant education act. The university is open to humans and mutants of all races, creeds and religions, giving them an equal opportunity at higher education.

Mutant U. is a co-ed, mutant/human university specializing in offering additional training for mutant powers alongside the curriculum for most common majors. The game allows canon and OC characters, humans and mutants, teachers, staff and students. The university is a microcosm that reflects some of the prejudices found in the outside world as well as those unique to college life.

MU is a College Level AU X-Men game set in modern day Boston. It is meant to be a place where OCs may flourish, new stories can be written and those who have moved on to college may begin again. The school grounds, commonly referred to as Mutant U., house both a university as well as a training facility. The game is open to mutants and humans age 18+, canon and original characters are both welcome. The game hopes to combine the social aspects of life as a mutant and a university student with the dangers that come from living in a world where humans and mutants coexist, sometimes not-so-peacefully.

The Korean War, 1950-1953. You are stationed at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital three miles from the front lines in Uijeongbu, South Korea with some of the most skilled surgical hands ever to serve the United States Army. Your chief surgeon, Captain Hawkeye Pierce is a remarkably gifted doctor who, with his partner in crime (and fellow resident of a tent dubbed 'the Swamp' - Captain BJ Hunnicutt) between long, intense sessions of treating critically wounded patients, makes the best of his life in an isolated Army camp with heavy drinking, carousing, and pulling pranks on the people in the camp. His cynicism and total lack of military discipline can only be matched by his talent as a surgeon and empathy toward his fellow men. Your incumbent commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Henry Blake is as absent-minded and pushover as they come, and arguably (surely in jest) second in command only to Radar O'Reilly; the camps beloved, seemingly psychic Corporal and company clerk. Throw in Major Margaret Houlihan, head nurse and self-described 'military brat' who runs a tight ship over the team of nurses; Father Francis Mulcahy, your timid chaplain with the guts of a lion, and an entire military unit's worth of characters, and you have the 4077th. It has been a year since seal number thirty was destroyed. Since then, dozens of people from different universes - good and evil alike - have poured through the cracks in the universes that the seal created, dropping straight into the world that Lilith so eagerly sought to destroy. Those brought through the seal proved to be nothing short of a challenge for Lilith, but with a clever plan already set into motion, Lilith managed to trick one of the Winchester brothers into breaking the final seal. In doing so, Lilith was killed; Lucifer, however, was freed from his cage for the first time in thousands of years. With nothing more than vengeance set in his heart against God and all of humanity, Lucifer began to work. War would no longer be coming; with Lucifer up top and his apocalypse well on the way, it is finally here.

In 2023, the first Wizard University was opened in Ipswich, England. Offering an alternative to traditional internships, the school was a welcome relief to places such as St Mungos and Professional Quidditch Teams, where applicants far exceeded the vacancies. One year later the school is thriving with nine offered subjects, co-ed fraternities, street games, and Quidditch tournaments. Gossip and rumours, pranks, and day-to-day mishaps make college life anything but boring. Just mind the occasional streaker.

WMU is a next generation Harry Potter game set at university. With a focus on character development, good storylines, and both friendships and relationships between characters, we’ve gone back to basics that make role play fun. We encourage good writing, journaling, threading, and our players to simply relax and have fun.

Musings

Musings has always existed, a world alongside our world.

In Musings, people live the way we do, eat the same food we do, love the same way we do, and work the same minimum wage jobs we do. The differences? They all have their roots in fictional characters, and they are immortal.

Though they are not the characters themselves, they carry in them the essences of characters from fiction. The sources that they spring from do not exist for them, but they are based on fiction we are familiar with all the same - though no one has ever read a Batman comic, there is a rich young man who uses his money to fight the forces of evil that destroyed his life. Though Moby Dick was never written, a sailor still stalks the bars of a town on the sea, watching, waiting.

Now, a portal has opened between the world of Musings and the mortal world, and the Creations (as they call themselves) have begun crossing over in droves. Now, they have abilities that they did not have in their own world, abilities that they can choose to do with what they will. There is no great prescribed fate for these echoes of fiction, only the destinies they choose to weave for themselves - living and losing on the shores of a new world.

welcome to harmony
A city of blue skies, good education, plentiful jobs. People are charming and courteous, crime is kept to a minimal. But lately, shadows lurk in every corner, and amongst whispers in the dark - or occasionally shouts - you hear of unrest and chaos.

Things are rotting, crime steadily increasing, mobs forming, and rival corporations are playing a massive game of chess in an attempt to seize control of whatever secrets they think the former town's ruler has left behind. And you, my dear citizen, are in the middle of all this.

Harmony is more than a city. It grows, it breathes, it watches and waits. Located at a crossroad in the universe, it brims with magic, not always under control. Dark Mark Rising

The year is 1976.

A shadow looms over the wizarding world. While attacks and deaths are becoming more and more numerous, there is one safe place left; Hogwarts. The school of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the great beacon that stands out to Lord Voldemort, a place under the control and protection of Albus Dumbledore, a place safer than the ministry. But he has found a weakness in this protection through the children of his followers, children that will grow up to become his fiercest followers. For now, they will be his weapons against Dumbledore in the one place Dumbledore cannot hide from them.

Voldemort is not the only one that sees promise in the faces of these students. Dumbledore has been carefully watching them grow, seeking out those who have the potential to be the unsung heroes of this conflict. They all come from different roots and places, but they are those he knows can be trusted to rise up against the mounting fear and attacks. In time, they will do just that.

There are many sides to choose, which one shall be yours?

Wanda Maxinoff went insane when she had found out that she couldn't have children and started to play with realties where she could. Magneto worked with Charles Xaiver and Dr. Strange to help cure Wanda of the delusions she was having but she was starting to become very, very dangerous. Meanwhile Charles Xaiver and the X-Men called a meeting with the Avengers to talk about possibly killing Wanda to save the world. There was a lot of arguing but in the end they did agree on killing Wanda, unfortunately Quicksilver overheard the whole conversation and ran back to warn Wanda convincing her to create a universe where Mutants were in control and the family Magnus ruled supreme.

The world went white and no one at all remembered what life was like before this utopia was created except for Wolverine and Layla Miller. What if Wolverine and Layla Miller never came to the conclusion that there was something wrong? What if they never went around waking people up from this wonderful mutant utopia where the House of Magnus ruled?

Our goal is to bring the 'old GJ feeling' back. We're focusing highly on character development, player involvement and player driven storylines.
