Premise of the game: Freedem University was started long ago on the premise of being one of the most selective liberal arts colleges in nation. However, this was simply a guise for it's real intention. Freedem University appears to be a normal center for higher learning to most but to the truly gifted it's real purpose quickly becomes apparent as an undercover school for those with abilities above and beyond the normal students which shuffle to and fro with classes everyday. Freedem University's real goal was to take in those endowed with powers and abilities above the norm, magic users, mutants, the supernaturally gifted and train them without the public scrutiny other centers for higher learning receive. Also by staying 'off the radar', unlike other major universities, this frees up professors to offer a much larger range of potential courses offered since there are no state or governmental restrictions the university must abide by. We all know the story of Harry Potter the boy who lived, but what if we took the characters we love and threw them into an alternate universe? In this universe the real threat to the world comes from Gellert Grindelwald who never faced Albus Dumbledore in 1945 and continues to hold onto the Eldar Wand. Grindelwald has combined forces with dark wizards, werewolves and vampires to take over all of Europe. His goal is to make all muggles subservient to wizards and witches. Meanwhile his right hand man Tom Riddle has taken over the Ministry of Magic in great Britan the one place Grindelwald never wanted to touch, but the man known as Voldemort to his followers has his own plans. You have been sent here to carry out the full term of your sentence. There will be no escape. There will be no appeals. Some of you will never leave. For some this is only the beginning of a long and terrible nightmare. Rumors of brutality, of severe discipline, rape and even murder is rife within, but in a place like Grand Junction money talks. Besides, you are a convicted felon: society has washed its hands of you. The only people looking out for you now are those left on the outside waiting for your release. The year is 2023 and Hogwarts’ first year under the reign of its new, tyrannical Headmaster, Tiberius Odgen, has come and gone. Students are free to enjoy their hard-earned summer beyond the reach of their stern faculty and archaic standards of conduct, no longer victims of dictations regarding everything from the volume of their laughter to the proximity they must maintain from the lakeshore (and members of the opposite sex!). The older students leaving their seventh years behind them enjoy this time with a sense of nostalgia and excitement as they prepare to enter the next phase of adulthood; some seeking employment and others leaning toward the option of tertiary education. Yes, slowly but surely, the Wizarding World has come to mirror its Muggle counterpart by founding Wizarding Universities, with Britain’s two establishments located in Scotland and England promising to turn determined academics into the kings and queens of tomorrow. But summer will only last so long. For all the younger kids, from fifth year to seventh, it’s only a matter of time before Hogwarts’ classrooms are filled with new sets of teenagers bombarded with rules and regulations, and a cross, ex-Hit Wizard Headmaster, who does not tolerate any kind of folly. There’s no low hum of an engine, or any of the ships personnel they said would be there to greet you out of stasis. All you know is, the automated functions have opened your stasis pod, and it is dark. You sit up cautiously, none of the other pods seemed to have opened. You are very, very, alone. This is where everything begins, the awakening, day zero. You are aboard The Eros, and of the 1200 other passengers, you are one of the few that woke up. No one can give you a reason to why the automated functions malfunctioned or why you were the ones who were chosen to wake up. The welcome teams haven't contacted the ship. All you know is you’ve touched down on Gaia and there is no one here to hold your hand. Everything you brought from the old world is gone, family, friends, your old life, everything. You are now faced with a choice, do you stay on the ship and hope for help to come? Or do you venture into the unknown? The choice is yours. Gaia is waiting.

Manifest Destiny is a Marvel Comics-based AU set in the Dakotas during the days of the Wild West.

It is 1875. The United States is at a crossroads, still binding up the wounds of a country torn in two a decade before in the Civil War, while pushing westward in exploration with optimistic enthusiasm for its centennial celebration next year. After completion of the railway link back east and the discovery of gold in the Black Hills in 1874, the Dakota Territory has seen its share of boomtowns. One of these was named Marvel.

Dr. Charles Xavier, having opened a school and home for orphans after experiencing the horrors of war, has recently moved out west with students both old and new to provide an atmosphere less rigid than that of his ancestral home in New York. He dreams of giving these orphans an education and a fresh start where they can thrive and not be held back by their birth and their lack of economic opportunity. He's assisted by old pupils turned teachers, and his good friend Erik Lensherr, an immigrant who fled persecution in Eastern Europe. But where Xavier would ideally turn his orphans into gentlemen and ladies who can use their talents to improve society, Lensherr thinks that first his pupils must survive and grab an assured place in life before they can start improving it. Which man's philosophy influences any particular student's outlook and behavior more, who can say?

The law does its best to keep things in line. Colonel Nicholas Fury, hero of the famed Howling Commandos, keeps an Army garrison nearby at Fort Shield to help keep the peace in the area for major upheavals. For the day-to-day there's Steven Rogers and his posse of US Marshals, nicknamed the "Avengers" for their swift defense of justice, as well as the local sheriff and deputies. But it's still a rough and tumble atmosphere, with bandits and mercenaries alike.

Many people have been making their way out West in the expansion to Marvel and its surroundings to make a new life, whether to escape from home or the results of the war, or from boundless optimism: soldiers, immigrants, homesteaders, cowboys, gold miners, quacks, scientists, saloon girls, gunslingers, merchants, outlaws, and gamblers alike. It makes for a vibrant and sometimes volatile atmosphere, where just about anything can happen.

The RPG MODS RPG OOC Directory Plot & Premise Cast & Available Rules Apply Game Canon	The Premise In the Summer of 2024, a pack of werewolves started terrorising the country, turning young children and brutally killing their parents. A month later the dead started returning to life. Voldemort was among the first to arrive. By spring 2025, Voldemort and the werewolves had joined forces; Hogwarts, Azkaban and Diagon Alley had been attacked, but Ministry and Order were still standing strong, forcing Voldemort to live in hiding. On June 18, 2025, everything changed! Voldemort launched an attack on the wizarding world, hitting King's Cross, the Hogwarts Express and the Ministry. While the forces of good spread out to protect the population, Voldemort took over the Ministry – and with it the Wizarding society. The Order and their allies fled to Hogwarts, where Headmaster Severus Snape shielded the school, making it impossible for Voldemort to gain entrance. From there, the Order launched its resistance. For the rest of the population, it’s comply or be killed, but under the surface, people are trying to find a way to manoeuvre outside the new laws and restrictions. In the meantime an unknown, yet undetected, spell is spreading amongst the Wizarding population, Death Eaters, Order and neutral alike.
