Okay, so you've played reincarnated versions of the gods. You've played them in high school, and in a town... oh, and in a mult-pantheon game. But have you ever played just gods?
Apotheosized is just that. The greek gods have been sent to earth, and in the mean time, Cronos has taken over. Most of the gods are against Zeus' order. They'd prefer not to let immortals cavort and have children with those lesser than them. They want a disconnect with them, being viewed as their god, and not their equal. Those that are for Zeus (namely the children of gods and mortals and those who don't mind them) prefer to be on the same level with those that prayed to them. Unfortunately, it was this fight that allowed the Titans to reclaim the throne on Mount Olympus, condemning the gods on Earth. They are not powerless, nor reincarnations. They are very much themselves. However, they've been on earth since 1909 - and their goals have not been met.
Yet, with each passing decade they are becoming weaker. Some have no desire to fight anymore, slipping into modern society, getting a nine to five like everyone else, and having children. Modern demi-gods. Others do nothing of the sort, raping in the sake of sexual desire, and causing destruction when need be.
But, with the fall of the third deity by the two groups, the blood shed placed on Athens, Georgia is now a beacon for the immortals.
Apotheosized seeks to become a modern, Greek equivalent of the Norse "Ragnarok". We have a lot of things planned for this game. Plots, and different arcs involving the deities. For instance, a well spewing honey and milk; "nectar of the gods" - which will have quite the effect on them. :) This will not be your boring, lame, "Oh, I think I'm Athena. Hey I'm pretty smart!" No reincarnations, and half their powers. Play them how they were "meant" to be played!
Wanted: Zeus, Hera, Hestia, Demeter, Poseidon, Amphitrite, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hephaestos, Hermes, Dionysus, Tyche, Hebe, Triton, Aeolus, Deimos, Eros, and many more!
