The Afterlife has come at last... One might expect paradise or eternal damnation, but something else entirely is in store for the wizards and witches who find themselves on a remote island in the sea. Atlantis is a combination of paradise and damnation, though that makes the afterlife all the sweeter. The residents have their own demons to contend with in time without end, but they are being governed by a higher power that has yet to reveal itself. This higher power has taken it upon itself to set up a fickle environment, throwing a wrench into the workings of Atlantean Afterlife. Will the residents of this lonely island be able to survive eternity with the same dignity that they displayed in their lives? Despite these vast changes, one thing has remained the same. Recently, Hogwarts Castle has appeared on the island. It is surrounded by the same terrain that frequented its' "living" twin. Along with its' appearance, new arrivals have accompanied its' appearance. Atlantean residents are now faced with their School Age versions. Things are about to get even more interesting... |

Harry Potter didn't think he'd be boarding the Hogwarts Express for his final year, but the events of summer 97 made it all possible. The trio, with the aid of the Order, managed to find and destroy each horcrux. It had been the most difficult three months of their lives, but the Wizarding World was safe once again. Safe did not mean peaceful, however. Some argued over the imprisonment of Death Eaters. Others didn't believe Voldemort is truly dead. And still others boasted about the Light's win. The Ministry was rebuilt, but at a price. Kingsley Shacklebolt is being blackmailed into making former Death Eaters, their families, and survivors miserable. They are taxed severely, subjected to random searches, and cannot travel at will. Newer and harsher laws are made regularly. Meanwhile, Hogwarts was not the place all once knew when Harry and his mates returned for their final year. As headmistress, Minerva McGonagall worked hard to restore a fair and understanding system through programs, dances, and projects. Even Severus Snape, his name cleared, attempted to connect with students and work peacefully with his former nemesis and new Gryffindor head, Remus Lupin. Yet, no one easily forgot the attack on the school or the prejudices and wounds. As the trio's year enters the workforce, the world is learning to operate as one, but old loyalties and beliefs die hard. Who will embrace a life where all blood is good? Who will attempt to fight the changing tide and uphold the values of old? Only time will tell, but no one expects a bump free road.  | Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 17 & Up. In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared, and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded. The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five. It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known. It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing. Now in 2048, after the population has dropped to below three billion, a solution has been found. The same lab that came up with the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the clean and near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty. The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by either offering it for people to take willingly or slipping it into the water. To further insure that the population will continue to grow, a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law. Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive. The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match? A note about the mods: The mods at Fruitful are experienced players who have seen their fair share of fantastic games...and the not-so fantastic games. | On December 26th, 2009, the cruise ship Nausicaä set sail from Miami to Bermuda on her maiden voyage. In the months beforehand, 100 lucky people from all over the world won themselves a ticket with a budding cruise line, Odyssey Lines. Some entered themselves, some didn't - though it was explained that a friend, family, or co-worker anonymously submitted their name in a contest. To all winners, it seemed like a dream come true. An all-expenses paid New Years celebration in paradise. Plane tickets to Miami, and home from Bermuda were included. The Nausicaä was set to arrive in Bermuda on January 4th, 2010. That never happened. On New Years Eve, a terrible storm hit them at sea, pushing them off-course and sending them deeper into the Bermuda Triangle. All outside communication with the world was lost. Satelite devises, such as tracking, died. Compasses began to spin. Cell phones stopped working. They were lost at sea. On January 2nd, the Nausicaä turned what was presumably East, knowing that eventually they'd hit something. This, too, never happened. Though direction was never altered, the sun rose and set in a new position every day. Crew started disappearing. The captain kills himself. The Nausicaä is lost in the Bermuda Triangle, its passengers left to fend for themselves. Will you survive? Oblivion is a brand new, original-character game slated to open on January 2nd. It began with a vaccine. A way to protect those who weren't already afflicted with HIV, and to perhaps help cure those who were. It was meant to save mankind. Instead, it condemned them to extinction. Entire cities fell virtually overnight. Chaos filled the streets. Governments were overturned, anarchy became the new order. Hope was lost until, almost eighteen months after the ordeal first began, a small group of the brightest minds came together and created a plan to save the world. In 2025, New Hope was created. A large, domed facility built just outside Geneva, Switzerland, New Hope was meant to be their salvation. It was safe, from both the elements and the dying victims that still roamed the neighboring hills. There was a chance to start fresh, to create life once more. They simply had to find a cure. Unfortunately, with their own health waning and time running out, a cure was further from their grasps than the stars in the sky. The answer came, they thought, in the form of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator, LHC was capable of creating a gap, between time and space. It was with this theory that the scientists spent the final moments of their life preparing New Hope for the arrivals. Videotapes, audio recordings, even written instructions were set in place to answer any questions. The message they left was loud and clear. These arrivals were the last hope of a dying planet. Together, they may be able to find a cure. If not, it was up to them to ensure the planet survived. The year is now 2030. For five long years, New Hope has remained empty. The scientists are long since dead and the most amazing creation of their time is slowly crumbling from neglect and decay. Yet the LHC has never once faltered in its daily attempts to open the hypothesized rift. And at long last, it is beginning to succeed. New people are arriving almost daily. Some pulled here without their knowledge, some coming in the name of exploration. Beings of all shapes and sizes, all walks of life, now roam the streets of New Hope. They have been assigned a task by those before them to save the world. That is, of course, provided they're capable of surviving themselves. New Hope is a multi-fandom RPG. We allow for most any fictional character from most any fictional setting. This game is set on a Post-Apocalyptic Earth in a fictional city which does not exist in any known fandom.
