After dissecting researching the matter of Bluebell "vicious bunnies," I've come to a few conclusions: namely, that they possess a genetic predisposition to violence. These are aggressive animals with an accelerated growth pattern. Ordinarily, predators would keep them in check, but it would seem that failsafe hasn't occurred, which is why we are encountering them now.

The important bit here is that they are currently multiplyingβ€”to the point where their numbers will soon overwhelm the local wildlife population. That would include us, by the way. Did I mention this is happening alarmingly quickly?

Now, what to do about all that is out of my jurisdiction. You're welcome to review my notes yourself, if you've a mind: [Attached Google Doc] It's back to finding what passes for tea in this place. I apparently can't go without sleep anymore Dull

It's close enough for a lot of people and having seen some of the result of stuff like that it really is.

He is, and he's got a Node if you're more comfortable talking to him straight on. He was able to help some with the goose situation so the more details you can give the more he'll be able to help because 'rabbit' is pretty hard to scan for.

Do you object to coroners as well? Funeral directors? Field medics? Just so I have more reference.

Excellent. He's welcome to everything I know. Is he at all opposed to being questioned? We don't have anything approaching that level of technology in my world. I'm intrigued.

I don't, actually. I'm just trying to explain why people might feel a bit wary.

I'm not too sure how to transfer your file to him though. I mean I can read it and SAM will know it but if you'd rather explain it to him feel free. And he's not. And I'm happy to answer questions too.

I'd enjoy an audience. It's hardly any trouble to verbally relay what I have. First question, then, as it relates to you: what is it like?

Alright, we're in 906 Morningside Manor. I'll try and find some tea for you.

What do you mean by that, in particular? Do you mean what SAM is like (he prefers masculine pronouns by the way) or what it's like to live with an AI?

Ta. I appreciate it.

The latter. It seems less [...] lonely to have one, but that's merely conjecture.

I'm not a tea person so I don't want to get your hopes up.

Well it's weird to explain. see SAM's linked to me via a neural implant and feels, learns, and all that through me. I remember what it was not having him, but for his case before he was linked to me, he was linked to my dad. He's never known what it is to be alone. I don't think he could understand the concept.

You can't possibly do worse than Lipton, I assure you.

That is [...] surprisingly charming, and not at all what I thought you might say. In a way, you are linked to your father as well?

Noted.

Not really, it doesn't work like that. SAM's only reference is the person he's currently linked to. Dad was able to give SAM a few hidden commands I was able to figure out but if you were to ask him how my Dad felt on a certain day in the past, SAM wouldn't be able to tell you.

And if I asked how SAM felt about him?

You'd have to actually ask him, but with the caveat that because we're linked like this a lot of my emotions bleed through. SAM was designed to be symbiotic, because AI's on their own have a tendency to go rogue where I'm from. Dad figured that this solution might be the better one.

Fascinating. The two of you are truly marvels. I want to study - I'm eager to learn more.

Thanks? It's mostly SAM though, all I got are my biotics. And you're always welcome to come by.
