Cable was sitting in the corner of the kitchen, watching Alex cook, Lorna fidget, and Domino laugh and bounce. He was amused.

Oh, part of him was freaking out as he picked up the phone. Part of him was freaking out mightily. His dad... but not, was here, Now, and 19!!!

Somewhere, Fate and God were having a beer and laughing at him.

He sighed as he dialed.

"Hello, Jean? Why don't you come over for dinner?"

"This is about Scott, isn't it?"

Cable paused.

"Not really, not so much about him as about me and you meeting him again, together, instead of separately while all my insane other family looks on?"

"Sounds more like an exhibitionist thing, than a family thing, and I am sorry, no. I am half way into this bottle of wine, and it will probably be joined by another, later."

"Awww, Mommmmmmm..."

"Uhhhh, I don't want to be your mom, tonight. Is that an option?"

"Nope."

"Damn. Well, I am going to be a very very bad Mommy tonight, and lead a bad example and get smashingly drunk. You have fun."

"Jean... it wont hurt, really."

"You're wrong. It already does."

He sighed.

"I'm sorry."

"Have fun. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"O---kay. See you then."

"Love you."

"Love you too."

He hung up and grumbled, and eyed the group in the kitchen.

He wondered how Belladonna and Scott were getting on...

Scott choked and headtabled. Cable blinked, stared, then realized, and abruptly shielded him and Domiono.

"Oops. Sorry Scott. I forgot about that."

The worst part was how Scott was aroused by a lot of it, and shielding himself utterly.

Alex stared from one to the other, then laughed.

"Did you two whisper sweet naughty nothings and get caught by Scott?"

And he was laughing.

	Lorna blinked. "I don't want to know. Are you alright?" She touched Scott's shoulder, lightly smacking Alex's for being mean on the way. Domino blushed scarlet, and slid off Nate's lap. "Shit. I thought it didn't work like that. I'm so sorry." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Cable explained to Domino quietly, and apologized. "I'm sorry Scott. I forgot..." He blushed. Alex sighed. "Sorry, Scott. Just the image of them getting caught by you.... wow." Domino hid her face. "Oh God. Owwww."

She was not amused.

Lorna sighed. This was rather embarassing. Poor Scott. "So, if everybody is done having sex at the dinner table with everyone else, We might be able to get through the meal without anyone else imagining anything they don't want to."

Like how big Nate had to be, or what the hell he'd been doing with Domino to make her look that sheepish about being caught.
