Ianto headed round to see Owen. He wanted to know what was up with Owen. The fact Owen hadn't wanted to speak about it made him more determined to find out. It proved he could put aside any petty arguements they might have to show genuine concern for a friend. He rang the bell and hoped Owen would answer. He held a bottle of wine he'd brought back from his trip as a sort of peace offereing. |

Akima was stretched out on the balcony of their hotel room, reading a book in the sun. She hummed softly, the breeze playing with her hair as she read. They'd left the country the second things had gone bad in New York, at Pulse's request, and had spent the ensuing days not paying attention to the news from America.
Pulse was still asleep, this morning, but Akima never really slept more than five hours at a time, so she'd snuck off to read a book. It was a rather good book, about alien parasites that lay their eggs in people's bodies.
Luckily, it didn't remind her of any aliens she'd ever encountered. |

She was nervous. Sure, she was mentally linked with Alex, and if anything went wrong she was only across the street from where he was meeting with the Prime Minister, but a lot could happen in the time it would take her to cross the street.
She breathed a sigh of relief when he told her the meeting was out, and finally ordered a drink. It would all be alright. Thank goodness. |

Max was freaking out. Which was nothing new, really. But this time it wasn't an acid flashback, or a bad dream. He heard the other patients screaming, and it made him very afraid. Things were going to bad, and he really, really didn't want to be there. |

What: Vacationing!
Where: the Grand Canyon

This was possibly the most fun Lorna had ever had. She'd spent the entire week traveling with her boyfriend, visiting all the awesome places they could think of. With her powers, they could go anywhere and see anything, with no worry about the cost.
This particular day their plans were to see the grand canyon at sunrise, and then travel some, and camp during the night. It was, in her humble opinion, a very good plan.
Except for the fact that she was going to be doing all of this without any caffeine until they actually got to the Grand Canyon. But that was okay! Really! |
