| | nauseated | ] | WHO: Dean/Bela WHAT: Shore leave! WHERE: A town somewhere in the Caribbean WHEN: Pirate Day (so I'm guessing like, 1700s?) WARNINGS: Swearin' and shaggin'. With these two, big shock.
Bela had passed out in a heap after an interesting day in the 1920s ("Bela, baby, there's a tommy gun in the closet!"), half curious as to where they'd wind up next. She wasn't certain if she'd be time-jumping for the rest of her life, or if it would end, but at least for now, she was all right with it. Nothing could really harm her if she was only in a time for twenty-four hours.
However, the rocking of a ship had woken her. Then had come the shouts. "Right, lads! Three days in port is yours for the takin'!" "Wine, women and song!" "Where's our own wench?"
Oh, God. Bela sat up and instinctively clutched the rough blanket to her breasts (naked again, bugger!), hearing a shout of joy from ... pirates?
She looked around. "Where's Dean?"
"Your boy's around, me lovely." One of them leered at her. "Likely on deck, hoistin' the sails!"
Oh, thank God. She tried to look dignified, or as much as she could with a blanket on her breasts. "I'll wait." |

Quest for Shipwreck Cove |
[May. 22nd, 2008|06:52 am] |
When: the morning after this (still ongoing and soon to be nsfw due to Bill & Jack being hungry, Miniver being available, and all three of them being their usual nymphomaniacal selves) also: PIRATE DAY! Where: Out on the ocean, headed toward Shipwreck Cove Why: See above, re: PIRATE DAY! Who: the crews of the Endless Horizon and the New Vanity Warnings: None yet. But dude, pirates
Jack had woken early, as he usually did, and even before he heard the Dutchman's joyous shout he knew that they were home, something about the air, the quality of the light, he would be hard-pressed to figure out exactly how he knew, all he knew was that it was home, and despite his previous objections to repeating time, this was different.
He grinned before extracting himself carefully from the other two, knowing that Bill at least would sleep a while yet, he dressed quickly, grin just spreading as he stepped out onto the deck, settling his hat into place. It had been an adventure before, a quest even, but now, right now, for today, it was a real Quest.
As soon as he was away from the cabin door he was barking orders as he made his way to the helm, still grinning half maniacally, it was a happy expression, really. He petted the wheel, as he was prone to doing, the ship still wasn't the Pearl, but it was much closer now than it had been yet. |

Who: Jess and Rory What: a meeting Where: Rory's place When: Right after their fight on the journals Rating: TBD Warnings: We'll see Status: Incomplete
It took him about four tries to figure out what the hell he was doing, when it came to portkeys. He'd ended up in about 4 different places, too, and each one had left him with a deep yearning for the NORMAL world, where he could just get into his car and go to Rory's house, rather than having to deal with weird time periods and messed up ways of travel. But finally he managed to make it to the right spot, or at least close enough that he could walk the rest of the way. The entire trip had left him with knots in his stomach, though those could easily have been attributed to the fact that he was going to see Rory. After their fight and everything that had gone on before that, he just wanted to have things settled. He just wanted to know where he stood with her.
He wanted a chance.
Swallowing heavily, Jess buried his hands in the pockets of his coat, fidgeting a little in the strange clothes, before knocking on the door as loudly as he could, and hoping someone would answer. Preferably someone friendly. |
