Who: Anyone who's seen her post here (or any of the ones prior, or anyone who's been told by a friend or a friend of a friend or y'know, anyone.)
Where: Anne's place in Key West
What: Orphans' Thanksgiving Weekend
Warnings: Knowing this group? Probable.
When: Thursday mid-day through whenever the leftovers are gone and/or everyone goes home.
There was rain predicted later in the day, but just at the moment it was simply cloudy, which suited Anne just fine, since it meant she could leave both sides of the house open so she could see people coming and not smoke everyone out with the turkey roasting. The bird had been in the oven almost long enough, and at that particular moment she was basting again, her hair looped up in a braid to keep it from getting into anything.
(ooc:Party thread folks, food's in the kitchen, games are in the back room, music's in the front, smoking's out on the back patio. Eat, drink, be merry, talk amongst yourselves, don't make a mess and if you do, clean it up. I've got sub-threads for locations, but feel free to start your own, I'm rarely so organized.) |

Warnings: probable and even likely.
Jack could tell that something was wrong, and moreso than usual, even just over the text. Though perhaps that was more Scarecrow's doing than his own. It hardly mattered, however, he'd gone to the cellar to fetch some of the good liquor (which really was any of it) before retiring to the sitting room to wait for Miniver's arrival, sprawled into his favorite chair, toes stretched towards the fireplace, looking altogether too catlike for his own good just at present and quite possibly nodding off. |

Warnings: likely. It's Jack & Miniver seriously.
Jack was right where he'd said he would be, curled up in his favorite chair, rather enjoying the cold snap because it gave him a reason to keep the fire going. Not that they ever really let it go out, but the recent snow was cause for an actual blaze.
He was quite comfortable, really, half-finished bottle of dinner sitting on the table beside his chair, either forgotten or ignored for the moment. After all, sometimes he just needed a little variety. |

Jack had mostly recovered from his glittering, in fact, with the help of a keyboard crumb-vacuum he'd actually gotten most of it off, just a few tenacious patches of it still clinging in his hair, but he was content enough to leave them there.
Right then he was stretched out in his favorite chair in one of the sitting rooms, basking, really, in front of the fire. He wasn't really asleep, and was probably only dozing due to the day's excitement, wouldn't take much to wake him up again. |

Where: Out on the ocean, headed toward Shipwreck Cove

Who: the crews of the Endless Horizon and the New Vanity
Warnings: None yet. But dude, pirates
Jack had woken early, as he usually did, and even before he heard the Dutchman's joyous shout he knew that they were home, something about the air, the quality of the light, he would be hard-pressed to figure out exactly how he knew, all he knew was that it was home, and despite his previous objections to repeating time, this was different.
He grinned before extracting himself carefully from the other two, knowing that Bill at least would sleep a while yet, he dressed quickly, grin just spreading as he stepped out onto the deck, settling his hat into place. It had been an adventure before, a quest even, but now, right now, for today, it was a real Quest.
As soon as he was away from the cabin door he was barking orders as he made his way to the helm, still grinning half maniacally, it was a happy expression, really. He petted the wheel, as he was prone to doing, the ship still wasn't the Pearl, but it was much closer now than it had been yet. |
