It was actually a fairly slow afternoon, as far as afternoons at the Snake Pit went. Rita was staying out of trouble and Kitten was keeping her company. Since she wasn't serving anyone right at the moment this meant that Henn could play with Herbie, a red-tailed boa who was apparently trying to learn how to mix drinks, given as how he was draped over the back of her neck, occasionally lifting his head to stretch towards the counter, or flick his tongue at her as she moved. |
