Quest for Shipwreck Cove
When: the morning after this (still ongoing and soon to be nsfw due to Bill & Jack being hungry, Miniver being available, and all three of them being their usual nymphomaniacal selves) also: PIRATE DAY!
Where: Out on the ocean, headed toward Shipwreck Cove
Why: See above, re: PIRATE DAY!
Who: the crews of the Endless Horizon and the New Vanity
Warnings: None yet. But dude, pirates

Jack had woken early, as he usually did, and even before he heard the Dutchman's joyous shout he knew that they were home, something about the air, the quality of the light, he would be hard-pressed to figure out exactly how he knew, all he knew was that it was home, and despite his previous objections to repeating time, this was different.

He grinned before extracting himself carefully from the other two, knowing that Bill at least would sleep a while yet, he dressed quickly, grin just spreading as he stepped out onto the deck, settling his hat into place. It had been an adventure before, a quest even, but now, right now, for today, it was a real Quest.

As soon as he was away from the cabin door he was barking orders as he made his way to the helm, still grinning half maniacally, it was a happy expression, really. He petted the wheel, as he was prone to doing, the ship still wasn't the Pearl, but it was much closer now than it had been yet.

Much like Jack, Anne could tell the difference as soon as she woke, and it was enough to get her up and dressed in no time, where she'd been captaining in a dress that made her look like the back of an Alhambra truck the day before, today her wardrobe saw fit to give her something she was more used to. In other words: men's clothes.

She worked her hair into a tight braid as she stepped out onto the deck, "Right you lot, we're two men down for the morning, but that shouldn't slow us down any, we'll be getting one back as soon as Jack's done with him, and Petit'll be back whenever she's finished what she's doing inland. In case you hadn't noticed: we're in our own time, maybe not your own time, but the time of Pirates as a whole. We'll make good time today, wind's with us, hop to, people!"

	Anne grinned at that, "Ah, as are you, Jack and Bill finished with you already?" Not that she was terribly surprised, really. She just hadn't been sure when to expect him back. She arched a brow then, though she was still smiling, "Just because the wind's on our side and the rum has returned doesn't give us permission to slack off, Midshipman Cheevy." She laughed aloud at that, shaking her head, "Well unless you give me a reason to have you keelhauled, or someone falls overboard and I send you to the rescue, there'll be no getting the fuck off my boat."

She shook her head again, still grinning, as she took the wheel, "What are you on the roster for today?" She'd long since discovered that rotating work rosters worked best, because then everybody did everything they were able and nobody did anything they couldn't.

She shrugged, nodding towards where the rosters were tacked up beside the cabin, "Check where Petit is, if you're not on today's list, the two of you should be doing the same thing."

She hadn't intended to set it up that way, so that the two people for one job were both missing at the same time, but that's how it had fallen, and she knew they'd both be back soon enough.

Elizabeth had been... somewhere. Tending to something, really. She wasn't quite sure where Will was, but she did see Jack up there at the wheel and so that's where she headed. Before she said anything of value, she handed the bottle of rum out towards him, with it only about half full, "Might want some of this before I drink it all." she finally stated.

It was nice to be back home, even if she'd almost sort of been accustomed to the other place, the more modern version. But this was really home, and that's where she wanted to stay. "This is going to be a good day.. a very good day.." she could feel that too.

Jack just beamed before accepting the bottle, "Thankee your highness."

By 'some' she'd meant 'most of what's left', right? Because he handed it back considerably more empty, "Aye, we're still far enough out that we won't find the place today, but we'll find something, can feel it in m'bones."

Jack was never really sure where his certainties came from, but whenever he was that certain about something it turned out true.

Elizabeth kind of grinned at him. For some reason she trusted Jack's weird sense of judgment. Well about most things anyways. She nodded a bit, "Good.. good, I'm ready to do some.. exploring.." not that she didn't love being on the sea. She did, but she really missed the adventures and the exploring that they used to do. The excitement. Okay maybe she just wanted to beat something up.

"Feels good to be back home.. even if it's probably not going to be for very long knowing this place.."

Jack scanned the still mostly quiet deck, making sure that the crew that was already awake was doing what he'd ordered, then he shrugged one shoulder, "Just keep alert today, never know what we might run across." And if he knew he wasn't telling. Chances were good though, that he had no more idea than the rest of them.

Another shrug, smile gone crooked, "Find something that needs doing I suppose."

Ah right. Maybe she shouldn't have wondered if being back here meant that the Krakken was still around. She really really hoped not, even if she was excited for adventure. That would just be nuts. "All right then.." she eyed him carefully. There were things she wanted to ask, maybe too curious about how he was different from the Jack she knew, but she wasn't quite sure how to ask.

She turned on her heels and headed off to go ... fix something.
