I'm sure I'm jinxing things, but thank goodness it's quieted down. Of course, now that I've said that, something else catastrophic will happen. Feel free to blame me for it. |

Today, one of my dreams has died.
Screw you, Oprah, for crushing my hopes. |

I didn't think anyone in this world played Wicked Grace, but I found a club in Freeport where it's laid out. I won three thousand Bahamian dollars during the afternoon. And I stopped some fool trying to snatch a coin purse when I was delivering on Exumas Island. Felt bloody good to lay a man out again.
Zev, I trust you got the parcel I sent you? It's not Antivan, but it's as close as I could find.
( Locked to Penelope )
I hesitate saying this, but I'm hard-pressed to think of a way life could get better right now. |

Odd, that the royalty in the English family has such despicable style. I have found the telly a most fascinating interest and time to be had, though the Queen belittles herself by wearing such ridiculous hats, and by dressing herself in a most obscene yellow, as a runny egg has passed and solidified over her body.
My own family is not quite so vain, and I am grateful for that.
Zounds, how bizarre, how queer, how absurd.
I have been told that I speak like a Count, or more exactly, The Count from some odd-sounding show on the telly. And when I show that I truly do not understand what is meant, I am asked to count anything. "One street urchin, two street urchins," and then to laugh.
There is much in this world that baffles, and much more that makes no existent sense.
[ooc; i've been mega away and totally missed that Arthur replaced William, edited to fix that! \o] |
