I apparently have a cooking show. That's really weird. I was never much for cooking all the time, unless it involved cheese, before I started working for Ned. But apparently I have this show about semi-homemade food. I prefer the homemade kind without the 'semi-', but oh well. It will probably be fun. It's just weird to think I just replaced someone. Like...poof! I'm here. and poof! They're not. A little too familiar, really.
Has anyone ever thought about where the people we "replace" go? Because it's really kind of sad when you think about it. I guess I just feel a little guilty, living this woman's life. |

So, now that I am no longer dying of embarrassment, It is time to resume my work.
Though the days that I spent with Kon were quite nice.
Hmmmm, it's strange not having to work all the time. I am beginning to relax a great deal, though I sometimes feel guilty for not doing anything. That will pass, in time. There is little use in running around like an idiot trying desperately to find a catastrophe.
Would anyone care to meet me for coffee tonight? I'm feeling adventurous, and there is an interesting looking coffee shop a bit down the street. |

So, Christmas was fun, Yule was fun, got some skiing in, got some skating in, had a couple snowball fights, got some good presents (thank you everybody! I'll send out thank you cards as soon as I get the chance) and had a good time, New Year's should be fun too.
Was supposed to go to work tonight, but they called to say they're closing down early because of the weather, I still get paid anyway, and it's a payday, so! Who wants to go bowling or something? Indoor minigolf? Come over and play video games? |

I find myself feeling oddly...lonely. Really, it makes no logical sense. I have 282 friends on MySpace, which is 33% more than I had back home. Even given the loss of Leonard, Howard and Rajesh, I'm still coming out ahead. And not having to worry about even reciprocation of unexpected Christmas gifts is a relief.
Still. Something seems... off. |
