okay, i gave myself a little gift after some personal accomplishments. as i mentioned previously my top coat has been dying on me, so i figured some nail goodies would be a nice buy. i've been spending a good amount of time on nail art as a hobby anyway.

i recently ordered a bunch of stuff on recommendation of a few friends & boredom, so here's my haul. mostly asian beauty products (seriously, i made the switch a few months ago & my skin has never been clearer/prettier!!! plus super-soft, super-moisturized, i have a somewhat even skin tone and no gross flakes on my forehead and in between my eyebrows for the first time ever? WOW, i will probably make a post detailing my regime in pursuit of Perfect Skin especially because i have sensitive skin so i have had a lot of mishaps [looking at you, black soap that burned my cheeks off]) & some other things, but i don't know. maybe someone has some input here.

i've also been looking at etsy as a new place to buy cosmetics too! do you guys have any favorite etsy shops i should definitely check out? or "indie" cosmetics/skincare shops in general, ha ha ha, i really just typed that. |

My mom took me shopping for some (EARLY) birthday presents today and I only got a couple of things because I was looking for pants but they didn't have my size in-store. I ended up getting a top that was on clearance and two dresses so I thought I'd post them here since I rarely get new clothes!

Today due to traffic at the gas station after putting air in my tires and thus being forced to turn into a shopping center to turn around, I decided what the hell, let's find and peruse the goodwill...

Had some gift cards from Christmas I needed to use, so today banlieue and I went to TJ Maxx. (We also went a few other places not relevant to this story and the same song kept playing EVERYWHERE it was creepy.) I need clothes I can wear to work but also that I want to wear when not working - I don't want a huge difference between my business-casual attire and my everyday wear - and I think we did a pretty good job at it.

I went shopping! I bought some new clothes. Mostly tops but I did get two new dresses... The dresses aren't included here because I couldn't find any pictures of them online and I look too groce to do personal shots.

I went to the outlet mall today, which is such a bad/good idea it's not even funny. I am a sucker for sales, and EVERYTHING is on sale at the outlet mall. But I got a lot of cute things!
It is only after I had paid for everything and was on my way home that I realized that pretty much everything is the same shade of navy blue. Apparently, I was in a blue clothes mood.

Edit: I forgot to mention the best part: Charlotte Russe let me keep the hangers. I am always in need of hangers and too lazy to buy them myself. |

So I realized the other day that I desperately need some professional but casual work clothes to wear, especially things that cover my tattoo more -- I've gotten lazy working at the flower shop, where nobody gives a fuck. But I got hired someplace new that does! And I needed clothes before Monday. So I went to Old Navy, tbh. And had the really fantastic problem of everything looking good on me again (even though I gained weight the past few weeks for sure), and not being able to afford it all. I'm trying to narrow these choices down even more if possible, but I really like all of it, sadly. At least a lot of it was discounted and cheap to begin with? I spent nearly $179, though, even without the things I was strict about and put aside, which is probably everything I had in my bank account to spend, I cry.
Also please forgive the weird cropping because I was too tired to gaf.
