This was why people didn't gamble. It got them into all sorts of trouble that, lesser men, would have tucked tail and run from. Casey figured the only good part of this was he was learning the lesson young while all it would cost him was his pride. Besides, after he got through all three dares, he had a feeling the students would realise something strange was afoot.
As he moved through the large entrance way, his gaze found the Ravenclaw table and the blonde he was looking for. He cast another glance around to take stock of who was there, searching for one brunette in particular. Though he couldn't see her, wasn't sure if she was elsewhere or if he'd simply missed her, he hoped she was long over him. It was perhaps the first time he'd had that hope. Yet, given how fast news spread along the Hogwarts Grapevine, she'd know by the next day regardless of if she was an eyewitness.
Casey reached the Ravenclaw table and stepped up behind Clare. Her wrist was taken to turn her around and, in one fluid movement, his other hand lifted to cup her cheek as he pulled her into a kiss. While soft at first, he deepened it a moment after. Around them, the noise of the Great Hall seemed to drop away slightly and a wolf whistle cut the air from across the room. It was only when he was sure Clare could find no fault in him not completing the dare, he pulled away to her to look down into her green eyes. "Happy?" he asked before dropping his hand away.
