Who: Clare and Michaela Boot
What: Shopping!
Where: Diagon Alley
When: Backdated to Monday March 29th
Status: Incomplete
It was a pleasant, sunny afternoon, and there were plenty of shoppers at Diagon Alley taking advantage of the day. Clare and Michaela Boot were two of these shoppers. Clare, for her part, was trying very hard not to look like she had just been made to swallow something particularly nasty. She didn’t want to make Michaela feel bad, because it certainly wasn’t her fault (this time). Clare just… didn’t shop. She had clothes, she liked her clothes, and she saw no reason to replace them until they wore out. Which led her to another reason to be grumpy – she was only here because, over the past year school year, she had gained somewhere around thirteen pounds. Her clothes were fitting her more and more snugly. Clare had avoided admitting this to herself, but the need for new clothes had made it hard to ignore any longer. Add to that the fact that Clare was not very font of crowds, and it was no wonder she wasn’t in the best of moods. Still, Clare turned and managed a smile for her elder sister. “So, where do we go first?”
