There's a new Edward Elric in the Nexus. Yes, another one. This one stands about 5'10" and looks like he lost a lot of the muscle mass Edwards are known for. He looks outright average, actually.
He's sitting on one of the benches, legs tucked up to his chest, chewing on his lips before he speaks up quietly. "How do you go about making amends to the dead?" |

Somewhere in the Nexus, there is a door.
It is not a very large door, constructed to the average height and width of the front door of the average suburban house. On the whole is is entirely unremarkable, with only a peep hole and door knob to make it any more than a large, painted plank of wood. Those who frequent the area might notice that it is rather new, however, seeing as it appeared just now.
This is probably where the original author would derail into an epic off-the-wall tale about alternate dimensions or magical realms, but the current writer is both too tired for that shit and wholly uncreative.
The door opens to admit a tallish female figure into the Nexus, wearing a closed, hooded trenchcoat that makes her look like a monk released from an insane asylum and smelling faintly of a great many supernatural things should one be given to noticing those sorts of scents. Raw magic, werewolves, a faint trace of limbo, some sort of rabbit--the brimstone is likely the strongest of those scents, though. Tends to cling around a demon.
Sandra closes the door to her house behind her, not noticing it vanish and only noticing that she's not in her usual surroundings after she misses the marked lack of a step down to the street and stumbles. "What--?" She stares around at her new and somewhat strange company (was that a Transformer?) and blinks several times before forming a coherent reply.
"What the hell did Jack do now?"

Nexus,
I have suddenly found myself without a job and have no idea what to do now. There is one similar job that essentially does the same thing, but that would probably mean relocating, something I'm not sure I want to do. So I have two professional questions for you:
1. Any tips for writing a good resume when the last job that I held is considered highly classified?
2. Any career suggestions for a reluctantly former alien hunter?
On a personal note, my lover has stated his intention to do some traveling without me. I have reason to believe that he won't come back Should I wait for him to leave and let him end it when he does or should I just end it now?

Ianto wanders into the nexus. He's dressed in his customary suit and tie, clearly coming to the Nexus during a bit of downtime.
"What's the best way to tell your co-workers that the company car got stolen while you had it?" he asks after a moment, looking annoyed and upset. There's a long pause, before he adds to the question. "Labels for a relationship, are they a good or bad thing to have?"

It had been a while since Riza had gone around the obnoxious sign, much less to ask anything of her own. But it was the best and quickest way she could think to accomplish what she needed to find out.
"I'm wondering if there's anyone here who is familiar and experienced with magic that can relate to a person's soul, or soul energy, or anything along those lines," she said, "and barring that, does anyone know how I could get in touch with Filia Ul Copt? A woman who looks about my age, maybe a little younger, with very long blonde hair, blue eyes, and pointed ears?" |

Ianto has been wandering the Nexus for a while now, mostly observing the going-ons. Finally, it seems he's actually ready to ask a question.
"What do you do when you can't remember something important?" Ianto asks, glancing around. "And is there any point in trying to get back home, when you've really got nothing to go back for?"

"So how many times can a person walk in on you when, you're with your..." Ianto hesitates, struggling to find the proper word to describe his and Jack's relationship and failing utterly, before just going with "partner, before it stops being an accident?" |

An attractive woman hobbles in unsteadily on heels, carrying a coffee mug. She pouts slightly, at the sight of the Nexus, but doesn't seemed confused.
She bites her lip as she considers the group, before speaking up, "How do you handle sudden major changes? Especially ones that you can't seem to recall happening?"
She takes a seat on the nearby couch, studying her feet, "And how do women handle walking in these everyday?" She indicates her shoes.

Looking rather bored and disgusted Abigail sighed as she walked around, pacing back and forth slowly. Dressed in full gear, all her weapons and kevlar she was ready for battle, but there was no enemy.

"I ran into an alternate of myself, and he has no idea who he is. He wants to know about himself and thinks I might have some answers, but with the amnesia I don't know how similar or different our worlds really are. So, if you were in this situation, what would you do?" |

There seems to be a Sarah in the Nexus again, lounging on her favorite couch and doodling on a sketchpad. Her firelizard is conspicuously absent, and a small bag of cookies lays open within arm's reach. "Um...hmm. What do you think would be the best way to fly?" She doesn't even seem to realized she's said this out loud, oddly enough. |

Strange places with new faces and alien creatures hardly phased Isabel. She was used to travelling the Underworld and the gardens of the Elohim; as well as enjoying life on Earth. What stymied her, however, were matters of conscience and humanity.
