A Cloud walked into a Nexus with one huge grin. He had to have somewhere to gloat about the reason he was covered in reddish dust and motor oil where little ears couldn't decide to attempt to repeat the trick and older ears couldn't be tempted to punch him for being an idiot...
"There is only one question today, Nexus. Achieving powered flight with a motorcycle across Cosmo frigging Canyon: awesome thing or awesomest thing?" |

There is another Ianto in the Nexus, though this one is out of the pristine suit that most Iantos tend to wear. Instead, he's dressed wearing a battered jacket and pair of equally battered jeans. Upon close inspection, a collared shirt is sticking up out of the jacket.
He glances around, as if watching for someone or something, not quite trusting what he sees as he stares at the sign. He is staying toward the edges of the of the area around the sign, not creeping closer and keeping a wall to his back.
"What do you do when you've got nothing left? How do you find the will to keep fighting, even though everything you care about is gone?" |

Looks like Ata's turned back to her normal 20 foot tall Cybertronian shape. She's back in the question area, and of course that means a question.
"What's a philosophy you just can't agree with no matter what? For me, it's the whole 'peace through tyranny', might-makes-right slag that I can't stand." A frown.
"Anyway, here's another question. What's holographic technology like in your dimension?" |

Why, Atalanta's looking pretty happy today, and she's got a satisfied look too- don't bother asking her why she has that look you'd only get a vague answer.
"Ever had a really bad few days only to have it suddenly take a turn for the better?"
A pause.
"Alright, I guess that's not the only question I've got. Is your trust given or earned?"

There seems to be a Sarah in the Nexus again, lounging on her favorite couch and doodling on a sketchpad. Her firelizard is conspicuously absent, and a small bag of cookies lays open within arm's reach. "Um...hmm. What do you think would be the best way to fly?" She doesn't even seem to realized she's said this out loud, oddly enough. |

Ianto wanders into the Nexus with a cup of coffee in his hand. He pauses, glancing back, before turning his attention back to the Nexus.
"Any ideas on how to keep a pet out of the Christmas decorations?" Ianto asks. "Do the gateways into this place have a habit of moving?"

"Am I the only one who thinks this is a particularly sucky time of year to deliberately LOL people?" A freshly two-inch tall Ed sits sulkily on a chair arm, where he climbed to avoid being stepped or sat on.

A certain semi-famous blond, spiky "ex-SOLDIER" walked into a bar Nexus, half-hidden behind the ridiculously large crate of booze that he was carrying. Naturally, it took a few moments before he realized that no, he wasn't in the store-room at the Seventh Heaven and yes, Tifa was probably going to kill him messily on his return no matter what, given that the door he'd walked through had conveniently disappeared behind him.
Sighing, Cloud set the crate down and leaned on it, reading The Sign with a bemused expression before shrugging fatalistically.
"What's your favorite cure for nightmares? Alternately, how the heck do you get out of this whole land of disappearing doorways?" |
