| Who: Mickey and Violet Where: Between Mickey's house & Maggie's house When: Late (after this)
Mickey has rushed home to get his supplies after leaving Jack. Once he was on his way agin, the shotgun was in hand as he roamed through the dome. He also had a hunting knife he'd carried for years as well, just in case. He was hoping for the best and starting towards the woods near Maggie's house fanning out and looking for places that had even disturbed by something more than the rain.
Violet watched the man with the gun for a while as she followed him in the shadows. He was so cute, it was almost a shame that they were going to hurt him. He'd probably be a very fun boyfriend. Oh well. It was time to get this show on the road, she supposed. Taking a deep breath she let out a scream and sent herself hurtling across Mickey's path. Her eyes wide with terror, she looked over her shoulder and almost fell. "Help me! Oh help! Please!"

| Who: Frankie and Riley Where: The cattle ranch When: Late afternoon
Riley had spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Lia. He was still grinning when he emerged from his room to keep his meeting with the vet who was sure to be there at any moment. He ran into Tom as he was fishing out a cookie but the cookie went uneaten as Tom told him about the people found dead over night. “They looked like animal attacks. Like them wolves that blew through here a while ago,” Tom said and shook his head.
“I’m going to go out and check the fences. Make sure the barn doors are secure before dark. The vet’s coming as well. I want you to take care of it. And Tom, I’m not kidding. Get it done.” He caught Mrs. Haggerty leaving her quarters with Sophia in tow. He kissed the little girl on the top of her head and sent her to play so he could explain things to Mrs. Haggerty. “We need to be sure the house is shut tight. I’m checking the fences but I’m sure Savannah or one of the other boarders can help you. Lia needs to know too but I need to run. Keep Sophia safe.”
( You could easily be implying that you've got something naughty on your mind with Mrs. Pollard, and you require a third person to take part ) | comments: Leave a comment |
| Who: Avery and Devin When: Late afternoon Where: Near the lake
Avery was feeling okay. Sort of. Maybe. She was excited to move in with Fiona, but everything else was just… blah. She had spent some of the afternoon packing up a few things in her bedroom, though she figured Lochlan or Patrick could help her get her furniture over. Unless Fiona had a bed in the second bedroom already. Avery hadn’t even thought to double check. But there had been a few moments, here and there, when Avery had to stop and just sit. She cried for a bit and then, of course, felt stupid about it. Really, there were very few people worth crying over in her life, and she usually didn’t let her emotions get the better of her. But everything sort of sucked. Finn, Darcy and now, getting the feeling that Noah was blowing her off. Which wasn’t surprising. He was Darcy’s boyfriend, and Darcy was pretty good at manipulation when it suited her. So, that was that. She just figured she needed to chose her friends more wisely next time. And boyfriends. Sadly, she couldn’t chose her family.

| Who: Frankie and Lucas When: Early evening Where: The market
Once Frankie had helped Riley check the perimeters of the ranch, she had returned inside to find Mrs. Haggerty working on dinner. It was an awe-inspiring thing, having the patience and capability to make enough food for the majority of the employees and boarders of the ranch, but somehow Mrs. Haggerty pulled it off. Frankie had a feeling she would have been living off of canned soups and diner food if Riley hadn’t had the sense to hire the older woman as his housekeeper.
She poked around the kitchen for awhile, hoping to get a taste of whatever it was Mrs. Haggerty was actually preparing. Given the cold weather, it seemed like there was going to be a huge pot of soup, which was just fine with Frankie. They talked for a bit - or rather Frankie talked and Mrs. Haggerty nodded along - before the older woman realized she needed a few things for the pantry. Of course, Frankie offered to run to the market and pick them up, and five minutes later, she had her jacket and boots on and was on her way.

| Who: Eli and Finn Where: Their House When: Afternoon
When Eli woke up that morning, he'd gone hunting in the rain. It was the kind of thing he could get lost in, running for hours, chasing down rabbits, eventually bringing them back to the house for a stew. He hadn't realized how much time had passed till he returned, starving for a meal, so he set about skinning the rabbits in the kitchen in preparation for a stew. He was sure he was quite a sight, drenched and muddy, standing in the kitchen with a knife in his hands, but he didn't want to stop to shower till the stew was on.
