Just a quick announcement calling for nominations for the Senior Class elections to be held next Wednesday 19 September. If you get your nominations in by tomorrow, you will have just over a week to run your campaign. 

The positions we need to fill include:

President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Class Representative

Sheila surveyed the room where she'd laid out snacks and drinks for her party. She knew a lot of people were probably only just getting over their jet lag, but she was so ready to party. She was a little sad that this would be her last ever back to school party, after all, they were a tradition now, since that first one she'd thrown with Andi back before Freshman year. That party had changed a lot of things, really. It was the night she'd cheated on Marty with Austin, and it was so strange to look back at how things came full circle. Because here she was now, back with Marty, and trying to forget Austin.

"Darcy!" she called out to try and forget her thoughts, "do you think we have enough salsa?"

By some miracle, all the kids had managed to show up to SHS on time, and with the correct travel documentation. The flight from Conneticut to Atlanta had gone smoothly, and even the short layover in Atlanta, during which they'd had to practically run from one terminal to another to make the connection had gone smoothly. The big test, however, would be collecting all their bags at LAX, and going through International security there. But for now, everyone was settling in for the almost five hour flight to LA.

Howie had been kept pretty busy since Prom. He'd gotten a job in a small Ma and Pa business, helping fix computers of all kinds, mainly for people who never used them, and therefore didn't realise anything was wrong with them. He'd had fun with Shannon at the dance. although she'd seem a little strange toward the end, and he'd found out after she'd gone to Sheila's after party. But the more he tried not to think about it, the more he did, especially when he was alone in the store. So he welcomed distractions, like the door chiming when someone came in.

"Hey!" he said, recognising Cary, as he entered.

Let the Junior Prom of 2012 begin!

Cary looked at his watch and started walking faster. It had taken him longer at Heather's locker than he had anticipated and he was running late. He so wanted to get to the meeting place before Mari and now it looked that wouldn't be happening. Oh well.

When he arrived, he found Mari waiting for him. He gave his treasured accomplice an apologetic smile. "Sorry I'm late. Something took longer than I had anticipated."

Cary pretended to go through his backpack while he waited for his classmates to clear the hallway. He only had a few minutes before he had to move on for the day and wished that people would hurry up. When the coast was finally clear, he walked over to Heather's locker and opened it.

Careful to look like he was at his locker, Cary placed a black tote bag containing a USB drive with her instructions and a ball gray yarn his mom asked him to give Heather on the bottom shelf. He turned to see if anyone had come by and when he realized he was still alone, Cary took out a stuffed pink flamingo from his backpack and put it on top of the tote bag

Satisfied that she would know he had been there, he closed the locker and headed off to meet Mari.

Cary had plans for prom. Sparkly ones and he needed to start setting things into motion. Later he would send emails to Mari and Heather, but first he needed to secure himself an alibi. He wanted to be standing next to his date when it happened and he needed someone that people wouldn't expect to be a part of it. And Cary figured he had that with Sunny Winslow. If things worked out well, maybe it would be the beginning of a new partnership in mischief. Only time would tell of course.

He spotted the person in question by herself and went over to her. He grinned. "I've come to introduce myself in person and ask you something," Cary said to Sunny as he offered his hand to shake. "Cary Retlin."
