Cheerleading Sign Up

Okay kids,

I know it's Summer holidays, but I want everyone who's interested in making Varsity this year to sign up here... I need numbers, and you also need to know that optional weekly group training will begin soon, for anyone who is serious about making Varsity. This is not JV anymore, and I intend to win a few competitions this year with a powerful squad.

Cheer camp will take place the week before school starts, as per usual.

Logan and Austin discuss the ladies

Logan shut the drivers door to his Dad's car, and locked it. When he realised he wasn't working at the A&P, he'd texted Austin to hang out. He'd almost tried to get another shift at work anyway, because he needed the money to save up for his own car, but he really needed some advice. And Austin was the one friend he normally spoke to about girl dramas. Knocking on the door he waited, not even sure how to bring up something like what happened with Cokie.

Grace had been feeling so down since the other night. She couldn't talk to anyone but Cokie, which she was used to, but Cokie had her own stuff going on today. Grace had decided the only thing that would even possibly cheer her up with a root beer float, and she headed to the Rose Bud.

The thought of running into King had crossed her mind, which almost made her turn back, but even worse was running into the one person she hadn't prepared herself to see - Rick. He spotted her first, and was approaching before she realised.

Too late to run, she thought, giving him a smile.

"Hey!" she said, sounding happier than she felt.

Heather and Sunny Hang Out

Sometimes, Sunny Winslow was a bad friend. It wasn't most of the time, but sometimes Sunny being a bad friend occurred, even when Sunny didn't mean to. Still, with her father gone on vacation, Sunny had time to be a better friend, since she wasn't playing the role of the ever-perfect daughter. So in an effort to be a better friend, she had texted Heather and asked her to meet her at Thelma's.

"Hi," she said. "I'm glad you could come. How's your summer been?"

Dorianne left Linnea's house after their So You Think You Can Dance viewing party and decided that she wasn't ready to go home. She still had a couple of hours before she had to make her curfew and she needed a break from her mom. So she decided to take a walk.

She was enjoying the solitude when she noticed someone walking in her direction. Obviously they weren't looking for her or anything, but she still waved at them.
