Hello, and welcome to the sshp_prophet! I'll be posting a few times a week with information relevant to the Snape/Harry ship. Right now I'm thinking MWF, but that may change depending on activity and availability. I'd like to say up front that I am going to be as inclusive and comprehensive as I possibly can, but I'm bound to miss stuff (particularly if it's not happening on LJ, or if it's RPG-related). If you happen to see something I've missed, please point it out to me! I'd rather get three e-mails about some new story than miss it entirely. I'm reachable practically 24/7 at atrata[at]gmail.com.
I plan to post the first issue tomorrow, covering weekend activity, but first! I have some comments, and then hopefully you will have comments.
One, this isn't a recs list. I feel the need to say that again.
Two, I won't linked to locked posts in individual journals, but I WILL link to stories in locked comms, such as hpchan. I'll mark those stories as locked, but it didn't strike me as fair to leave out the Snape/Harry that gets posted there when so many of us are members and it's pretty easy to join. I hope that seems reasonable to everyone.
ETA: I'm now having second thoughts about this. I mean, people post in locked comms for mostly legal reasons, yeah? They don't want the wider world to know they write chan? I write chan, and don't much care who knows, so I'm kind of at a loss about this one. Thoughts? Is there some vaguely anonymous way to do it? Like, I could just say a story's been updated and link, but not list the author? Or is that unfair to the author?
And three, I'll link to gen and pre-slash as long as the focus is on Snape and Harry. Those stories will be so marked. Same goes for Severitus fics.
I've put up a tentative list of what I'll include in the userinfo, but I'll reproduce it here.
