It's been almost two weeks and I'm still not convinced this isn't all a weird dream. Someone keeps telling me I should introduce myself anyway, so hi. I'm Alaric Saltzman - you can call me Ric. Some of you might know my daughters Lizzie and Josie or Hope Mikaelson, who is basically part of the family. I suspect I'll be meeting a lot of you kids soon enough, because I was just offered the position of principal at the Goodland School.
