REMAINS OOC

Greetings, Ghouls! It's time we sat down and talked about how things run down in the subways below Austin. If your character is a Ghoul, we want YOU to throw your ideas out and help figure out what life is like down in the Ghoul Nests. Very soon our leader-hopefuls are going to begin vying for power amongst the ranks, so now's a great time to think about how things have been since the death of Sister Slaughter at the hands of the Dog King.

For some background, the Ghouls were led by a man named Sister Slaughter up until April of 2018. Sister Slaughter was a tall, lean but imposing man who established the subway nests soon after the blister gas was dumped on the city. He sealed off all but a few entrances to the subways to keep the zombies out and built booby traps to keep snooping survivors out. He acted as protector and mentor to his Ghoulish minions, and with his leadership the Ghouls prospered. They were well fed and safe in their underground haven. But Sister Slaughter had one large problem-- his followers kept falling to Praxacaterol addictions. Sister Slaughter repeatedly attempted to rehabilitate his junkie Ghouls, but more and more of them were dying or becoming addicted to the wash by the day. Sister Slaughter thought the best way to put an end to the scourge of Praxacaterol in his nests was to get rid of its source, so he made it his mission to put down the Dog King. He made several failed attempts on the Dog King's life, and the Hellhounds struck back in force. Finally, Sister Slaughter's right hand man got close enough to ambush the Dog King and stab him several times in the back. Unfortunately, he didn't use a very big knife. Rodeo recovered from the wounds and baited Sister Slaughter to come try to finish the job. The Dog King and his men met the Ghoul's leader on his own turf and killed both him and his second in command, leaving the Ghouls without their founder and guiding force.

So where are the Ghouls now? That, my friends, is up to you. Let's discuss what the Ghoul's present looks like, and let's throw out some ideas for their future. All plots are welcome!
