I promise that one day we will put more official NPC businesses up, but people have been doing a great job of headcanoning/referring to other businesses being in the city. Keep it up! :)

Special reminder that this month, you can reduce your activity check for December if you post at least one new connections thread. It can be a placeholder, in-progress scene, or finished thread, but it needs to be the link that you provide for your character (please specify as such, too)! The reduction is applied once per character (e.g., Nina & Paige / Nina & Ria are both new connections challenges, but Justine can't use them to reduce her thread count by two. However, Joie and Liz can both use them to reduce their thread count by one (so can Justine)).

Remember that as long as one of you was challenged to write against the other and the two characters you choose to write have never been in a scene together, you will receive credit for fulfilling the challenge.

4) Note that this is different this month: Provide at least one idea of a city business/location that you'd like to see added to the mod journal. While we encourage you to create your own NPC-run businesses for your scenes, as there are more businesses in the city than those run by played characters, we'd like to add a few ourselves based off of your ideas! These can be stores, re-opened hiking or recreation areas, etc. We'll create details for one of your ideas. The others are up to you!
5) Not required but fun -- you can still comment to other people's activity comments to generate more ideas and plot.

4) Note that this is different this month: Instead of providing a plot direction or idea for each of your characters, tell us one thing (or more, if you're really inspired) that you'd like to see in the game. Whether this is something that one of your characters wants to get involved in that would affect the whole game, you'd like to see more zombies overall, you want to learn more about immunity, etc. we want your ideas!

Remember, one piece of activity per month is a minimum and we encourage you to have multiple pieces of activity per month, but we understand that RL happens and things come up! Our goal is to provide a place in which players with more limited time can still thrive and have fun.

Hey gang! Just a reminder that you have until tomorrow, July 31 at midnight PST to reply to the activity check if you're not currently on a slow/hiatus.

If you do not respond by the deadline, we will contact you via email. We hope to hear from you within 2 days of that email's sent date, and if so you'll simply receive an activity warning for the next month. However, if you do not respond to the email within 2 days you will be removed from the game. You may also be removed from the game if you receive 2 activity warnings in two consecutive months.

If it's a network conversation or thread, we suggest that you try to make sure you're the last person to reply :) (I just did that when I posted mine, there's no shame in it.)
