Hey folks, meet my sixth character, Rebecca Russo!
She’s the ex-wife of Marc Russo, and boy is it going to be a surprise for her when they meet each other again. Since she moved to Austin, Rebecca has been working in the Real Estate and Business Development department at the Capitol. She’s been living in the city for quite a few months, and most of her work responsibilities have been assisting with housing and approving of new business applications, so it’s possible that she’s interacted with a few people because of that. Oh, and everyone can thank (or not thank) her for Dick’s Pizza.
Rebecca and her son, Joshua, previously lived in Chicago and then Denver after they evacuated Baltimore. She’s been doing the working mother thing for a few years, but hasn’t quite found a good balance (though she believes she has), and she might be just a little over-protective of her son, since he was bitten towards the end of 2018. I’m looking forward to business interactions, non-business interactions, and seeing how Rebecca integrates into the population of the city.

Liz here with my seventh and final character. (Mods, don't raise the cap, lol)
I bring you the younger part of the Russo brother duo. Leo Russo is originally from Baltimore (and damn proud of it!), like his older brother Marc he was around Austin from January 2017 - March 2018. Any characters who were around might recognize him as a member of the AFD, or if later than August 2017 that they met they'd know him as one of the unfortunate souls who fell prey to Prax. The tunnels were up right up until the Hellhounds took out the Ghoul leader, resulting in Leo (who was clean by that point) and his older brother to flee the city. They landed about fifty miles away in Johnson City where they've stayed up until December 2019.
Leo has a troubled past with addiction and alcoholism, but for the moment is clean. Upon returning to Austin he'll be using the name Ray Lewton while staying in temporary house in the Greenbelt. He could easily be recognizable to Capitol folks, LBJ or UMCBers from his time with the AFD. Hellhounds would probably know him better as a Ghoul, though he kept a lower profile than Marc while they were living in the tunnels. While he used to be prone to keeping his hair longer, as of right now he's cut it shorter and tries to be as clean shaven as possible in hopes of going unrecognized.
I would love to create some backstory and connections for Leo, as well as getting him acquainted with new faces also! As of right now idk where he's going to get a job, but I do plan on him getting one -- so if someone is in need of help, hit him up!

This guy's name is Marc Russo! Originally from Baltimore, he was around Austin from January 2017 - March 2018. Any characters around at that time may recognize or know him as an APD officer who disappeared around August 2017, when he and his brother moved into the tunnels. After the Ghouls' leader was killed by Hellhounds in March 2018, Marc and his brother fled Austin in order to avoid the same fate. They were in a small town called Johnson City from March 2018-December 2019, and when US soldiers brought news of Austin's resurgence, the two of them decided to come back to Austin to see what's what.
He'll be going by the name Jack Lewton for a little while, will be staying in temporary housing in the Greenbelt, and may be recognizable to Hellhounds, Capitol folk, UMCB-ers, and basically anyone else around then, though he's shaved off his very distinguished mustache as he tries to keep a low profile.
I would love to create some backstory connections as well as get him acquainted with people as he tries to settle back into the city! I think he may get a job at Walker's for now, but if anyone else is hiring let me know. ;)

HI EVERYONE, I HAVE GONE TO THE DARK SIDE AND MADE A SEVENTH CHARACTER :|
so obvs this is JJ and his profile is here but the cliffnotes is that he's from smalltown Wisconsin, comes from a long line of Lutheran pastors and went to seminary school to follow in the family footsteps but felt like his ~life calling~ was to join the army instead so he did. Once the zombies came, he started interacting with his fellow soldiers and organizing religious gatherings for them, eventually becoming an official Army Chaplain. After Austin's petition to the US Government for more support, JJ has been reassigned to Austin and is working on opening a church -- there will probably be an unpolished service for Christmas Eve and Christmas until he can get things fully organized so stay tuned for that.
Besides that I have no definite plans for him and look forward to getting him introduced to people in Austin ♥

Hello! Kirby here with my second character, Reese Isabelle Owens. Former Lara Croft wanna-be, and local history nut that's been around since 2003, born in Chi-kah-goh (no she doesn't talk like that.) She spent a lot of time traveling with her parents, never attending a "real" school as a result, even when she was stateside, up until college where she eventually met Grayson. She was Grayson's little history prodigy, and eventually his friend turned "annoyingly persistent" little sister. Since the virus she's been teaching since the make-shift classes, been bit once and was proven immune, and is also currently bartending on the side when her old friend Demi started the Bar in April.
I'm pretty open to everything, per usual. Definitely looking for some Savannah (and Nathan), Maizie since she's been around since Savannah entered his life relationships, and Olivia ties.
So. Yeah. Let's do stuff. *plotty hands*

Hey there, Jamie here! I swore I wouldn't app a 5th character and then, whoops, it just sorta happened ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This is Beauregard Waites III, more familiarly known as Beau. He's a single dad of three kids (one of whom I'm itching for someone to app so anyone wants to take a look at that info check it out over here-ish) that recently moved to Austin to open a Preschool/Daycare in the LBJ District (which is looking for staff members, just as another FYI). A recent widower, Beau moved his family to Austin to help him and his kids get a new start after the untimely and zombie-related death of his wife back in March. Even though he's eventually going to pick up a part time gig at The Bar, he comes to the game knowing absolutely no one so my primary goal for him is to reconnect with other adults and make new friends. I'm looking for any/all excuses for him to run into as many characters as possible so give me all your ideas! He's spent the better part of 8 months throwing himself into work and being the best single dad he can be so I think it's high time he branch out and start living life again!

Hey everyone, it is Joie, finally bringing in a 6th character :D
This is Paige Goodall -- Nathaniel Posey's ex wife. She's been living in Tulsa, OK since the outbreak started but over the summer as all of Olinger's sketchyness was revealed, she read in the paper that Savannah Posey was still alive. She struggled for several months about whether she wanted to open this can of worms but ultimately not knowing would drive her crazy. She's only "visiting" right now, trying to figure out what happened to her ex husband and his family but we'll see what happens ;)
She is a fashion designer and runs an internet based company in Tulsa, custom making clothes for people -- mostly for special events (especially wedding dresses). But she will make anything requested! If anyone in Austin wants some new clothes, she's your gal ;)

you may know him as the baby daddy to gigi and jeremiah gilmore! but let me tell you more!
he's an austin native who spent his teenage years (prior to knocking up his girlfriend) traveling around following every whim he had, because why not? he's a wild child, but he's settled a bit since becoming a dad. he's a sweetheart through and through, and a complete goofball. other than there being actual zombies roaming the earth, he's exactly how he was prior to the uprising.
you can read all about him (HERE) but basically, he's the super chill and seemingly out of place secretary for nina clarke and amanda van eeden. he would be nice to absolutely everyone, doesn't hold grudges, and generally isn't in a bad mood unless something's going on with his kids or kitty.
come at me with all the things! friends? acquaintances? i would say enemies but i honestly don't think he'd have any - at least from his end. former hook ups? he's equal opportunity there so it could be... anyone.

hi! it's clementine again! and this is colonel van dale.
the words 'army colonel' probably bring to mind a completely different person than what you get when it comes to him. he kind of likes that, though. it's fun to watch people's faces when they realize who he is. kāne van dale has been an army guy his whole life - starting with his father being in it and moving them around from base to base once he was born. he spent many growing up years in his real home state of hawai'i before going off to a military prep school, then west point.
he's got a long history (HERE) but basically he's lost his whole family to non-zombie related causes, so his soldiers? that's his family now. don't fuck with them, or he'll fuck you up. that being said, he's got a good grasp on separating the job from his life. he's tough when he needs to be, because he knows it's a necessary way with his job, but he's also the most chill guy ever when he's off the clock. like it says in his profile, he's a bear - but whether it's a grizzly or teddy depends on the situation.
but yes! he rolled into town with the government change back in june so he's been around a little bit already. not the most approachable dude perhaps, based on rank and general... size and intimidating appearance. pretty much goes by colonel, or his last name. i would say most people probably wouldn't even know his first.

Hey guys! Late intro, but this is Mandy with my fifth character, Shelby Thomas.
Shelby is a twenty-three year old Boston native, who has only been in Austin since early August (so a few days pretty much). She came down from Des Moines, with her grandmother, to help manage her Gram's (yet to be opened) coffee/doughnut shop in the UMCB district, the Doughnut Hole. Her full bio can be found here, but I'll try to give a snapshot of her real quick.
Before the United States became Zombieville, Shelby was a student at UMass with dreams of being a marine wildlife researcher/photographer, like her father. She was also working her ass off to make it to her second Olympics in Rio. She was a platform diver, but doesn't expect many (if any) people to know her name, since she never made the medal platform. But feel free to surprise her if you think your character might remember her 2012 showing in London.
She has the kind of personality that can be just a little too much for some people. She's bright, sassy and excessively optimistic. Shelby definitely believes that things can only get better, and treats the less than awesome things going on around her as only minor inconveniences. While in Austin she'll be splitting her time between work and classes, so there will be plenty of opportunities to interact with her at either place! She will probably also be annoyingly driven in her classes, so sorry in advance for anyone that might have to withstand that. :|
Anywho, that's about it. Shelby's coming in with zero connections to anyone in game, so I look forward to seeing what can be established with the awesome people of Austin. ♥
