Hey everyone! Quick announcement that Tracy will be gone from now until Thursday night of this week, so if you have any immediate questions, concerns, etc; please direct them to Heather either over AIM or through the mod e-mail. She'll get back to you as soon as she can.

Once Tracy gets back, we have some major game plot ideas to share with all of you. We've been talking about something really big to shake things up a bit, a game wide plot that we'll potentially be slowly building up to over the next year or so that will involve everyone, but more details on that later once Tracy's back and we can put all our thoughts together in a coherent mod post to share with all of you.

We still won't be kick starting into anything huge plot-wise just yet. At least for the next two months, we'll be sticking to some pretty laid back, light plotting over the course of the summer and potentially jumping into some major game plot starting in September, so at least for the next two months, enjoy the breather. :) As always, any questions/comments/concerns/etc can be directed to the mods over e-mail or AIM (though only contact Heather through AIM this week!)

Hey everybody--

As many of you may have noticed, there wasn't a gossip rag posted the day after the activity check. The reasoning behind that is that we didn't get any submissions, and as you can infer, without any submissions we have nothing to write about with the gossip. Thus, no rag.

This isn't a recent occurrence only; Heather and I have both noticed a distinct decline in gossip submissions that we've had to pad ourselves with gossip that we make up as mods. A few of those each time isn't so bad, but as you can imagine, an entire rag full of gossip that only we think up is very difficult for us to do. We love the gossip rag, and we know you guys do as well, but we really need your help to keep it going. It's impossible for us to keep up with every storyline in the game; there are just too many, and to do so would mean we don't get to play ourselves. That itself isn't a problem! We love how thriving the game is. But it does limit us on what we can do as far as gossip goes when it comes to storylines we aren't directly involved in. So we really, really need you guys to submit.

That being said, we're extending the submission period until Saturday, Sept. 26th, at 3 PM EST. If we get some gossip by then, we'll post the rag as we usually do. If not, then we'll just say there's no rag for this time and wait until next A/C. Gossip Girl took a vacation for this month.

Apologies in advance for any typos there may be here. I'm writing this from my phone as there's no power in my town at the moment. Yay us!

Anyway! Because of how things are falling this week, Heather and I need to ammend the app day temporarily--just for this week!--so that we can attend to apps submitted in a timely manner. As some of you may know, Heather's got a lot on her plate this week at work, and I'm leaving Friday afternoon for vacation and won't be at a computer until Sunday night. Because of that, Heather and I are doing apps on Thursday at 10 pm EST. It's a day earlier than usual, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but please be sure to have all apps in by then if you want them reviewed and accepted for this week.

Thanks for all of your patience and understanding! We love playing with each of you, and we're happy to have such enthusiastic players.

Hi lovely players!

So as most of you are probably aware of, two things are happening right now.

1) Next week is the end of the month.
2) The leader of the Resistance just offered a cure for the virus.

So what this means is simple! Between now and next week, hospitals are going to be receiving the cure and administering it to patients. This is all going to happen in the background (so no worries about messaging Sheena about getting the cure from Roman, because that's all taking place in the background with the hospitals and the clinic). So yes, characters are going to be getting the cures in the next few days.

However, a couple of things need to be kept in mind. This is a cure being offered by the Resistance, so people are going to be weary of it. Would you automatically take a drug offered by the same people responsible for mass murders? If you said yes I worry about you, so I'm going to assume that answer is 'no.' However, in the next day or two people are going to be forced into action, and taking the cure will be the only choice. So if you have any characters that you want to actually die from this disease, now is the time to complete that.

Heather's going to be posting Agency and Camelot posts tomorrow to help everyone through this plot transition, so look out for that! Thank you guys so much for your enthusiasm and participation in this plot month. We were really happy to see so many jumping on the plot bandwagon.

Hey guys! Just a quick note.

Heather and I talked it over yesterday, and we realized that the gossip rag coming out in the middle of a pandemic that's actually killing people would be bad timing (especially when some of the gossip is about people who are sick!). So in light of that, we've decided to push back its publication until this plot month is over. Because of that, feel free to continue to submit gossip (or edit gossip you've already submitted to reflect this timing change).

We're glad to see everybody's enjoying being evil and making their characters sick! :D

Things are getting pretty hairy in the reincarnate community so caretakers will be checking up on their charges. The basics of it is is that the rag was supposed to be posted today; however, because we only received one submission (thank you for that! you know who you are :) ) we can't post it. So we're going to give it one week extension for submissions to try and get enough for a proper rag this go around.

Please submit rumors here! Remember, it can be about your characters or somebody else's, just as long as you get permission to submit.

Hello, lovelies! I am officially back from my weekend. Comic Con was a blast and I am so exhausted, but also super anxious to get back to RP. I've been going through some pretty serious with drawls (as may have been evident from my random, late night spurts of tags over the weekend).

A couple things: This is pretty belated but obviously the Zombie AU plot is over and done with as of last Sunday. Tagging on threads is still going on, and people are welcome to continue that for as long as they want. If people still want to do new backstory threads for that AU they're welcome to do so until we start the next AU plot, Tracy and I just won't be actively moderating them. That being said, more on future plot weeks and things soon!

Now that I'm back I'm going to continue my quest to update all the info pages, so I'm sorry in advance if you look at any in the next day or so and things are a little bit jumbled. As always, please don't hesitate to ping us with questions.

As hard as Heather and I try, it's really hard for us to come up with gossip for everybody's characters on top of our other mod duties, so do try to participate! :)

Quick note, because Heather and I forgot to mention this in our excitement to get this plot started. The timeline for the zombie plot is a bit futuristic, but not extremely. We're going with the idea that it takes place in 2015, about a year from now. So anything that could have happened this year you can use in your threads--the zombie stuff built for a year and then came to a head.

Sorry if there was any confusion! And don't forget: if you haven't yet, go comment on the previous post with the status of your characters!

Hello lovely players!

As we said earlier, we've got a plot week this week for you all! So whip out your Zombie Survival Guides, pull out your katanas, and get ready! We're going zombie!

• This plot week is an AU Plot Week, so make sure all of your threads are posted in reincarnateau with the tags !au & !plot week. This is another thread-intensive plot week as the internet is definitely down during this zombie apocalypse. No journal posts!


• Since it's an AU plot week, none of the events that take place during it effect the main world. For instance, Sam and Dean Winchester in the AU plot could die in a blaze of guns, guts, and glory, but their normal selves are just chilling in a library in Minnesota. This also means that you can play out both universes; the AU plot is available for play, but you can absolutely keep playing out regular, non-zombie plot on the main boards and journals.


• This particular zombie virus was produced by mundie reincarnate experiments that resulted in a botched "reincarnate cure", and then was taken over and unleashed by the Resistance. Now the Resistance is in charge of the corrupt government in control of the virus (think Resident Evil-ish). As such, there are groups of survivors working to take them down.


• Edit: Date all threads for 2015, this AU is happening a year from now to show how things could have ended up!

Because this is an AU plot that doesn't affect the main timeline/universe/what-have-you, Heather and I thought it would be for the best that this be a plot month instead of a week so that nobody feels they have to rush, so this plot will continue through the end of this AC. It'll start tomorrow as soon as Heather and I put up the first post!

We're also going to do something similar to the future plot week where we chart people's statuses. So comment here with whether your character is alive, dead, or zombiefied! And, of course, with any questions you may have.

Hey everyone! Quick question. There's going to be some Camelot and Agency updates tomorrow following the week of dreaming but first before that happens - CARETAKING! It's a thing, reincarnates can use it. Are there any characters you currently have who haven't been assigned a caretaker and want to be? (They don't have to be brand new reincarnates, some people keep their caretakers for years after they've adjusted to the community.) Comment here with the names of all characters you want assigned one and we'll get that sorted. Also if anyone might want a character to BE a caretaker, we would be beyond grateful. Thanks!
