Hey all. QueenC here. Just a quick head's up, since IJ seems to be having some difficulties. If the site crashes (again), please make sure to check out: http://twitter.com/insanejournal. It's IJ's very own twitter page and is pretty good at letting us know when they're working on the site, etc.
Also, the news community is another great way to know what's going on, or to let them POLITELY know if you're continuing to have any issues with the site. Unlike ~system at GJ,![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
squeaky answers posts, and is a generally great guy. Usually he's aware of the problem and will at least let you know he's trying to work on it, etc.
And, please do keep in mind that it's Christmas Eve. So it's entirely possible, as much as it may suck, that if things go wonky, there may not be anyone around to fix them immediately. Please don't lose hope. I guarantee that IJ is way better than GJ when it comes to keeping us informed and getting things up and running, but as it's a MAJOR holiday, real life is calling for most of everyone at some point in time today/tomorrow.
That being said, the site seems to be done with its maintanence now, so hopefully that'll take care of any quirks anyone was experiencing.
And do bookmark: http://twitter.com/insanejournal <-- this link, as it's a great reference to have. They don't always hop on updating it, but typically they do and it offers a little bit of information when you get the dreaded 'server cannot be found' page every once in a blue moon.
That's all and, in case I don't talk to you before, have a Merry Christmas! I'll be on later tonight (I have to leave in an hour or so for holiday dinners and stuff) after I've got my daughter to bed, but I'm not sure how active I'll be until after the chaos of tomorrow. Hehe
