Once Upon a Dream OOC Community

Hello, everyone. I'm Becca, and I'm new to the game. I've been rping for 3+ years, but I've never played in a game like this before, so I'm pretty excited. This guy here is my reincarnated Superman. His name is Kent Clarkson, a funny little reversal of sorts of Superman's alter ego. The pb, if you don't recognize him, is JC Chasez, which some of you just might think of as an odd choice. lol Long story short, back when I was a teenie and boy bands were #1, I often thought it'd be cool if JC were to play Superman. So here I am, finally getting a chance to try it out. Kent is 30 years old, and lives in New York City, where he works for The New York Times as, you guessed it, a reporter. He's also a writer, with a book on the "Go Green" movement on its way to being published. He was born to a couple of comic book nerds, so that explains his dorky name. He's been having dreams of his past life for years now, and when he was 14, he discovered he had four of Superman's powers. Those powers are flight, super-strength, super-speed, and x-ray vision. Since his discovery of his powers, he's been secretly using them to help people. Kent is not a serious dater, so there's a potential there for storylines with girls he previously has been out with. He's looking for his own Lois Lane, the woman who haunts his dreams at night, and little does he know, he won't have far to look. A friend of mine is actually in the process of applying for a Lois reincarnation, which only adds to my current excitement. :D
