Once Upon a Dream OOC Community

Hey, y'all! Adds have been done - new characters from Bunny, Lena and Sarah this week, so be sure to do some plotting with them and welcome them into the game! All, don't forget to run the friend adder on all of your journals!

Some other notes:

+ We've made some minor edits to the application, so please make sure you're grabbing the latest version when you're filling out a new app.

+ We've finally put up a wanted page! We'll be listing out wanted lines and reincarnations, so hop on over and comment with the info on things you'd like to see filled and if you're considering a new character, we hope you'll consider filling one of those lines for someone else.

+ Don't forget the Just for Fun Awards and the IC Twenty Questions.

Just a heads up, guys, that we're about to start doing activity checks. The requirements will be the same as they are on new apps - we're just asking that you either post a thread or log or have an journal post of 100 words or more every month. For now, we're going to post a list of all our characters and the dates they last updated/threaded just to let y'all know where things stand. The first official check will be done on August 1.

Inactive players/characters will receive one warning. Any character who has already received their first warning will be removed if they are shown to be "inactive" a second time within a four month period. We feel this is only fair to the other players in the game.

As a note, if it comes to our attention that anyone is playing the system, we will not hesitate to remove the character from the game. Activity checks will occur on the first of every month, it is your responsibility to make sure your character is being played.

One last note on activity - we understand that it's easy to get busy (even we sometimes fail, as you can see above), but please do remember to communicate with your scene partners when you are unable to finish something you're playing or it's just going to take awhile.

Everyone needs to be sure to run the Friend Adder and reply to all of the Character Introductions. We want everyone to feel welcome here, at Once Upon A Dream, and character plottage is a necessary factor in that!

In other news, as we were going through the applications, we noticed a lot of empty fields. Today, we were nice and approved them regardless of the missing information. Unfortunately, we will not be doing that in the future. Please be sure that you follow all of the directions and fill in all of the application with what we have requested. This includes the subject line. The subject of all application emails should read "Application for your reincarnation here".

Hai guise, guess what?

Gabby and I decided that Maddie and Delilah grew up in NYC, so all you crazies with NYC kids could totally know my girl here. She's kind of crazy, a little bitchy, and a whole lot judgemental, but she's also oh so much fun! And she's in need of some exes and maybe some more friend and definitely more people to piss off, so get on that whole plotting thing, kay?

Hey, guys... IJ has been sucking at sending me comment notifications. On, like, every journal. So if you've left me a comment somewhere that I haven't responded to, just poke me and let me know, because I probably didn't get it. :(

(PS I love this place and all of you a lot... 29 characters already? That rocks so effing hard!)

Guys, don't forget to be running the FRIEND ALL on your journals. We're doing adds about once a day right now for the first week or two, so check/update that often to make sure you're not missing things on your flist.

Also, a tip? Adding ?show=p to your flist will filter to only journals and adding ?show=c will filter to only community posts. That might be a good way to make sure you aren't missing anything important. Some people have made journal entries and we don't want those to get lost in the shuffle!

Guys, keep checking and double checking the application. As we go along, we are making changes. I'm sure we'll get every thing settled soon, we're just finding that some things need a few adjustments.
