I do not suggest dropping into a new place with an ace bandage holding your guts in. That was the worst entrance anywhere in my life. Patched up and booked it out as soon as possible I hate hospitals.. Exciting entrances aside, they said this place was called Test City? Where the hell am I? Never heard of Test City.

It'd be really great if someone could get me to a hospital before I bleed out all over the pavement.

I had meant to do this sooner, but I've been trying to settle into this hostage situation. I'm Dr. Jack Shephard, one of your new doctors at Lovelace Regional. Prior to the plane crash I was a survivor of, I was a spinal surgeon at St. Sebastian Hospital in Los Angeles. I'm hoping to not have to put those skills to use here, so if you need a physical or have any questions about anything health related stop by my office.

So, I've managed to get a job as a Nurse. Not what I saw myself doing but I at least have experience in the area. The fact it isn't during a war on the front line might make things easier on me too... Not having to worry for ones life all the time will be good.

Is there anyone else working at the hospital?

For those who have unique dietary needs, could you just come by the ER so we can help you with those? I'm seriously tired of treating hypovolemia every night. There's no challenge to it.

Regardless of how permanent or temporary this might be, I've found myself a job with the local police department as a detective. I will be doing desk duty until my shoulder is healed up properly, but it's something at least.

Now I need to go buy some picture frames for my desk, and probably make copies of said pictures. I miss my family.

I'm still not certain about this new technology, but I must say it's quite effective although I know someone who would not be pleased about instant communication.
