I am enjoying this place. Strange to say.

The last time I was summoned to court, it was to testify.

I love my new house, but it still has that 'new house' feel to it which means I wind up staying awake, listening to every noise, hoping it isn't haunted by something unfriendly or infested with some kind of parasites and/or vermin, and wondering how secure the locks are on all the doors and windows.

I've gone on a bit of a baking spree. I apologize, but the weather's just been so inspiring.  I'm afraid I cannot possibly eat everything, and I'd like for you all to enjoy them while they're fresh.  Would anyone be interested in taking some treats off my hands? I've made bread, pies, cookies, turnovers, and scones.

Every day I'm here I wonder what's happening where I'm not. If I didn't know better, I'd swear this was only another clone factory experiment by Umbrella.

My head has finally stopped pounding. I am considering this to be a small blessing worth being thankful for today. Anyone else have any small blessings they're willing to share?
