No True Pair

The master list for the last round has been updated to include the entries added posted in September (although there's still a little of September left, so you can still sneak in).

However, I'm here (belatedly, on the heels of our co-mod) to announce the next round!

It's time for something new! We are going to have a holiday round!

It's a pretty simple thing, actually. You'll give your lists like normal, wait for prompts, mutter about prompts, and... (here's the different part) pick from other people's prompt to write.

That's right. You'll be writing from someone else's list.

Here is how it will work. I'm going to start a post after this so people can get together and talk about fandoms and such.

Signups will start on Oct 1st and last until Oct 20th. Then I'll post the prompts.

You will do what you usually do, replace numbers with names. Only then there is an extra step. You will post that list to a post that goes up with the prompts. My fellow mod and I shall do some organization, and then post a Master List on November 1st (uh, don't hold your breath on this one necessarily- icedark_elf will be around, but I'll be out of the country from Oct. 26th to Nov. 5th- feel free to bug me when I get back). It will be sorted by posting week and fandom, and you will pick prompts to write from there.

Yes, other people's prompts. No, no signup/claiming is required. Yes, we know that means that some prompts might get picked more than once, and some might not get picked at all.

And while we're not encouraging it, we are sure some will still pick up a prompt of their own to write, and we're okay with it.

So, here is the schedule!

Sep 30~onward: Chat about fandoms and such
Oct 1-20: Sign ups
Oct 21: Prompt release and character added prompts posted to mod post
Nov 1: Masterlist of prompts posted and writing may begin.
Dec 1: Posting of fics/art/icons starts

I strongly encourage you to speak up about fandoms you're interested in writing/drawing for (and receiving something from), as well as inviting your friends to participate in this round to drum up more activity. It will be more fun that way, won't it? :D

Here we go! Want to see if there is an interest in the fandom you are in? Skim down through the comments and see if anyone else has brought it up. If they haven't, make a new comment thread with the name of the fandom as the subject.

(I just got us started with what I'd say are my favorites, but I have lots of other interests, so if you post something, I'll speak up there)
