Rating: PG13 for violence and language.


"Perhaps," the mutant said very slowly, "we have overstayed our welcome." The thought seemed to surprise him, his brows elevating slightly. "How curious it is to suggest these people are all innocent and would have done nothing to provoke what has transpired here. I would think you sympathetic to my plight. To our plight." He looked now to Rogue and the man whose hand she held. "Even the ugliest monsters can hide behind the prettiest of faces."

( She was not one to cry. In fact, any time she was feeling too much of anything it was usually expressed in anger. Rogue was very angry now. )
