For once Scrimmy is glad the match is so short and nearly collapses off her broom in relief once her feet touch the ground. It might've been a successful match for her (she scores more than the next 3 chasers combined) but it the most emotionally tiring one. Running on adrenaline and constantly forcing herself to go her usual 500% is exhausting, not to mention all the portree pink (who cares about catapults) flying around and having to work with a whole new chaser for the first time. It's all too much and for a brief moment she's thankful that damn moose caught the snitch so quickly. There was no way she was going to be able to keep this up for a longer match.

She already knows this is going to be a big media type match and she's not here for that, so she shoulder bumps Alasdair on her way towards the locker room and holds a fist out for Pepper to fist bump. Big lead and win that they didn't even need the snitch for, not bad for a first outing of a new starting chaser lineup.

Scrimmy doesn't even care that this is in public view, she's so drained that she hugs Laddie in full mascot costume tight as she can and buries her face in his mane for it. This wasn't a match to smash and get that snitch level of points, this was a match just to survive through. And she did.

When she lets go she's glad that her goggles are still on and she holds up a hand for a high five with the mascot, trying to recover and play it cool. Though she knows Tor knows what this was for her.

	Short games are always a bit of a surprise to Lorna. You feel like things are just getting going and then they're done. But, good snitch catch from Pip! Lorna dutifully makes her way to the Med Tent to check out her should. Lorna also smiles when she sees her children's decorating attempts and their pictures posted inside the tent. Does Ellie cartwheel on the the pitch to greet her players when they land? You bet she does.

She is grateful for a short decisive victory. The pink thing is important, but it's a lot for her to deal with -- she knows that's also true for her players. Everyone gets a hug. (And a few words with the coach if they want it, but after she snogs her husband. Although she is a little sad that she can't run and jump at him yet.)

	It's unfortunate that Maddock can't keep up the post game tradition fully (can't lift things yet!) but he more than makes up for it with a thorough snogging with Ellie. And Champ is there to be excited for his MUM and offers puppy kisses!! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

They do make quite the pair, and Ellie is glad that didn't quite go for true neon pink fo him. It would have been a little bit too much. But this was a happy middle, kind of like the extra intensity, but no jumping. She gives Champ a little bit of love.

Allie gets a few minutes of her time before she pushes him away to attend to Very Serious Team Things. But she might be up for going out drinking later if he wants to drop the dog at home?

Amir is flying even as he touches down on the ground. He seriously just played in his first ever match and they won and he didn’t make any huge mistakes. So he’s still buzzing now and Ainsley’s gone off to the med tent so he’s waiting for her. Then he sees his coach and in a completely uncharacteristic move, he hugs her. “Thanks for playing me, Coach!” he beams.

Hours later he’s gonna think about how awkward he is but for the moment he doesn’t care.

As soon as Ainsley touches down, she takes one step and then hops right back up on her broom and flies over the growing crowd to the Med Tent. Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, the pain has really started to seep in. By the time she makes it inside, she's having to use her broom as a sort of crutch. She's momentarily distracted by all the pink streamers, and is even smiling as she says, "Busted ankle."

	Pip was uninjured, but hung around the med tent (and not bothering Maggie!) because he figured her father would make it down there at some point. he wasn't sure he could swear properly at the man, not like Maggie had instructed, but he could at least wish the man a happy birthday. Amir cannot stop smiling after the game, and for once does not feel self-conscious at all, despite his hair being unnaturally pink and having pink warpaint on his face. He meets up with his family first, taking a ribbing from his sister and cousins about his first ever missed hit. But it's clear to see they're proud of him and he's trying to take it all in stride but feeling a bit overwhelmed.

He does, however, take his sister's suggestion and cleans off the war paint before leaving them. Which is good, cause his next stop is Terry and he already expects to hear it for his hair. But he doesn't even care as he finds him and Mick.

"Hey," he says, grinning. "Did you see that?"

That being the match in general.

Unlike quite a few members of Portree, Terry did not color his hair pink for the match, though he is wearing a pink button down shirt in honor of his Mum. She is a Muggleborn who spent time in Azkaban, so he fully supports the movement. Just not enough to charm his luxurious locks of hair.

"I did," Terry says as he takes a few steps toward Amir and away from Mick. "Since it didn't last long, I paid attention to most of it. You did a good job."
