Honestly, Justin is so bleary-eyed at that point he doesn't ask what's in the flask or take a moment to take a cautionary sip. So he was not prepared for the firewhiskey. He doesn't quite cough or sputter, but his eyes definitely water.

"Thanks," he croaks, but hands the flask back quickly. But after a moment he reaches into the almond bag and takes some for himself, without asking. Apparently he likes to live dangerously.

Maggie gives him a sidelong look before she rolls her eyes and digs into the pockets of her leather jacket. After a little shuffling, she produces: a package of beef jerky, a banana, cigarettes, two baggies of cut of vegetables (with "♥ GINA ♥" written on them), an apple, a case of somethings that are certainly not cigarettes, and two protein bars. Thank Merlin for magic.
