Anais has never met the man, but she has learned a lot about Monte from others. It seems like he's receiving a lot of attention right now, and perhaps a media person with Portree affiliation is not what he wants to see at the beginning of the match, so she lets him settle. After a few hours of the game, all 6'1 of her strolls through the crowd to introduce herself to the man of the hour.

"Mr Cameron? Anais Bolduc. I'm not out here with my WWN hat on today, don't worry." She sits herself down and lowers her voice slightly, because she doesn't know how nosey some of the people around her are. "I'm a friend of Mr King's."

The match was in a bit of a lull when Anais approached him. Of course, Monte had noticed the woman- hard not to- but he was still a bit startled when he realized she was coming toward him. Turns out this whole notoriety thing was something he was still trying (and failing) to get used to. He didn't know how people like Aidan and Jason did it. "Oh, uh," Monte stammered, feeling a bit flustered- he recognized both the name and the voice from her program- but attempted a slightly mangled, "bon jour! It's nice to meet you. Please, call me Monte. Mr Cameron is my da, y'know?"

He glanced around, as though to try to find Dad #2 in the crowd. "Yeah? He's great. Have you seen all the things he organized for this match? Dead brilliant."

Anais would have called the fact that he was a fairly recent starting player, even if she hadn't already been aware. The poor lad was certainly not used to the attention - whether the right or wrong sort, it seemed.

She crossed her legs as she got comfortable, gesturing behind her right shoulder at a 45 degree angle to the spot where she'd last seen the older man, having left him from their own conversation. "Indeed. We've just been talking about doing some on air interviews, actually. Probably after he's finished his preparations for the broom race, given how important routine is for that sort of thing."

"Yeah?" he said again, and instantly regretted it, since he felt like he probably sounded like an idiot. In Monte's defense, the game had been going on for several hours now, and didn't look to be ending any time soon. He was beginning to wonder if the Snitch had skipped the country out of spite. "Would this be for Uplift, or his mad balancing act? I dunno how he does it all. He's definitely one of my heroes."

She laughed and gestured at her own pink, a long scarf artfully draped about her neck. "More for this. The goal is to get some more in depth coverage than merely 'lots of people are wearing pink now, aren't they?'"

"That'll be great! I..." Monte faltered a bit, because, well, he already felt like he had pulled focus enough, so he was hesitant to bring up the reason behind today's showing in the first place. "I think it's great that people are becoming so interested in it, but I'm hoping the message doesn't get lost."

Anais nodded. "The perils of activism. There have been plenty of causes lost by the wayside because of one thing or another, especially when they get so big so fast. That's why it's important to keep up links between groups and the media to get the message out there in a pure and unadulterated form, I think. Print can twist things, but if we can get word out on the radio, hearing the actual words people from Uplift have to say might reach people we otherwise may not."

Monte nodded, smiling over at Anais. "It would be great if we could use the telly too," he mused. "Shame magic makes it go all funny. Put voices with faces, really drive the point home. We're just like everyone else, muggleborns, and we deserve the same chances as people born into the life from day one- although you could maybe make the argument that we were born that way too. We just took the long way 'round to get to that place of knowledge."
