dragongirl First post, but certainly not the last! And what better reason to use it than to show the world my knight in shining armor? Frankly, had this been 80 years ago, and I was that guy, I'd have definitely been asking you to a movie. Boyfriend or not.

But I'm not that guy anymore. In fact, I'm far from that guy. I guess it's just kind of looking in a mirror of what used to be and it's kind of strange? I don't think I can really explain it and the whole story would take hours and it's really not something I want to weigh you down with.

I don' tknow. Basically, short version is that Steve and I got locked in ice in different ways and for different amounts of time. I was left for dead then brainwashed for a while. Did some really bad things.

I'm not the same person I was 80 years ago. Far from it. Sometimes I get uncomfortable when I'm reminded of that.

Okay, so you're a different man. To be honest, I read more about your history and the others after I saw Tony's blow up post a couple of days ago. That being said, I'm willing to bet that you aren't the same man that you were a year ago. Or even six months ago.

Ask yourself this: Are you a better man now that you're out from under their control? Do you have remorse for the things those monsters made you do?

If the answer is yes to either one of those, then the man you currently are isn't the man they created.

I'm not trying to tell you how to feel, but if I was you, I'd want to celebrate and appreciate the new me that I've become.
