Chase was bored. He didn't do super well with being bored. He'd made a bunch of bombs, because he figured having a nice variety next time he needed them would be cool, and also he had nothing else to distract his attention, so he just focused in and made bombs. Eventually, however, that didn't quite cut it, and he got more bored than occupied, and he realized it was time to quit when he'd spent over an hour trying to make a curiosity bomb and it had failed. His focus was shot, apparently, so he ditched the effort, and hopped up, dashing out of his room.
He wasn't sure where he was headed until he realized he hadn't seen Nessie this week, but bouncing back and forth with her on the journals had been a good time, and so he veered in the direction of her room. He knocked on the door then waited outside, hands shoved into his pockets. His excess energy was making him bounce on the balls of his feet, though. "Nessssssiiieeeee," he called, apparently unable to wait four seconds for her to answer the door. If she was even there. Then he had to wonder where else she might be, or if he'd have to talk to her room mate, and he wasn't even positive who that was. Hopefully not someone big who could squish him. Even if he'd settled in a little here, Chase was endlessly afraid of people who could squish him.
Nessie could, just in a whole different way. Like she could crush his heart into a billion pieces, easy, and that was even without powers.
