Hurricane Party!
Who: Ginny and the other residents of the resort
What: Hurricane Party!
When: Day 10, around 7 PM.
Where: The White Sands Resort Bar and Club
Rating: PG? I don't know what crazy shenanigans are going to occur.
Status: In progress.

Ginny hated being stuck indoors.

She almost literally been trying to climb the walls in her frustration when she'd decided to throw a hurricane party. She hadn't met many of the residents, and figured if there was anyone else as irritated at being stuck inside then they'd appreciate the change of scenery. It'd also give people a chance to mingle and meet. She wondered if there were others from her world here besides Tonks.

The planet had been most accomodating to her ideas. The club was currently themed for a luau, and small lanterns shed a soft glow over numerous smaller groupings of tables as well as over the dance floor and bar. She hadn't been sure what the other residents might eat, so she'd asked for a large selection of snacks. The bar was well-stocked as well. She didn't recognize all of the things stocked, but she did notice a bottle of Firewhiskey and what appeared to be butterbeer.

Now all this party needed was people. Maybe she'd get to see Max again.

Gabrielle let her green eyes wonder around the room, Hope coming into her mind, thinking about the daughter she had had on earth. She looked up at Xena and nodded. “I know I dragged you here, Xena. I though it would be fun but not used to being able to just relax at a party.” She stated, looking back out at the party, though she wasn’t used to being able to relax at a party. She kept expecting something to go wrong but nothing did. It surprised her just a tad bit.

Hearing that they should go, she slowly nodded, figuring that was maybe the best because she no longer felt up to being social either and she was the more social one of them both. “Yeah, maybe we should.” She said, finishing off her ale before setting the glass down which quickly disappeared. Truth was, her nerves had made her want to just be alone, not to mention the thoughts of Hope.

When Gabrielle agreed to leave, Xena felt relieved to know she wouldn't have to argue with her. "Let's get out of here." She put her ale down, empty, and then put her hand on Gabrielle's shoulder, pushing her toward the exit. Bodies pressed against them, and she realized how crowded the bar had become.

She felt the twisting in her stomach as she exited the bar and walked with Gabrielle down the hall and back to their room. She wondered if they were both going to be ill, but it didn't feel like a sickness. It felt foreboding and evil. And it wasn't going away. She was glad when they were finally in their room and could lay down and go to sleep.
