[[Following Regionals, Quinn spoke to Sue Sylvester and received her Cheerio uniform back. She announced her new status to her Glee Club friends. With the assumption that the Finchel wedding is postponed due to lack of Finn, she went to go change into a nice, new black dress and go out to a nice dinner with Diego Lopez, her boyfriend. On the way to Dinner, she got distracted by a text message, ran a stop sign, and was involved in a car accident. Thankfully, she was wearing a seatbelt.

Quinn is at Lima General Hospital in the ICU with severe injuries. She has not yet regained consciousness, though the doctors have stated they believe she will recover without brain injuries. She is bruised and has contusions to her face with a black eye (right eye). Her initial arrival to the hospital led her straight into an OR, where physicians performed surgery to relieve pressure to her spinal chord. Quinn is allowed limited visitors (one at a time). Her mother has arrived and is in the waiting room, though she has not gone to see Quinn; nor has she made any attempt to communicate with anyone but the medical personnel. Quinn's father has not yet been notified, and her mother has no intention of calling him. She did, however, inform Principal Figgins, who let the remainder of ND that was still around tearing down from regionals. The accident was also on the news that evening, with Quinn's name mentioned as being in Serious condition at Lima General Hospital.

This is an open thread if someone wants to either visit Quinn or write something out about a reaction. I decided that was the best way to handle it. Artie didn't really know if he'd be able to help Lord Tubbington, but if it would make Brittany happy, he would do his best. He also went to her house in the ReWalk instead of his wheelchair. He had recently started using the device to climb up and down stairs. Being able to ascend the stairs to her bedroom would be much easier and much less awkward than having Brittany and her dad carry him up. 

Artie waited nervously in front of Brittany's door, ringing the bell. His sister, Amy, stood beside him, carrying the enormous bag of cat food. He centered his weight over the crutches and waited patiently for someone to come invite him inside. What am I gonna tell her if the cat is seriously ill? He hated to think of how badly she would react if something were wrong with her beloved feline. It would definitely ruin Brittany and Artie's time together.

What: Artie buys cat food for Lord Tubbington.

Artie didn't particularly like cats, but he didn't want Lord Tubbington to die either. And he was pretty sure that a cat shouldn't be eating fondue and whatever else Brittany was feeding him. Artie figured if he could just get the fat feline to eat the food, Brittany would see that he enjoyed it and that it really was good for him. That was the plan anyway.

He must've looked pretty strange, wheeling through the local grocery store with a huge sack of cat food in his lap. That stuff was expensive, too. Artie just hoped the purchase wouldn't offend Brittany. He meant well.

It wasn't that Mercedes didn't enjoy her job -- totally the opposite. She got paid to play with clothes, and got to dole out (sometimes unwanted) fashion advice. The pay wasn't terrible, either. Not great, but it was better than nothing, and considering that her parents were insisting that she pay for her own clothes this school year, any little bit helped. There are some things that are timeless, and there are some things that you just do not wear from one season to the other.

And shoes. You could never have too many shoes.

The bad was that all of the other salespeople had seniority over her and it seemed like every single one of them was going on vacation, which meant that she just kept getting shift after shift after shift. Which... money was good, but a girl needs a break.

Hopefully today would be interesting, she thought as she refolded the cute little lime green cardigan on the display table.
